Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWe experienced a false fire alarm and we’re asked to evacuate. I believe that the smoke detector was activated by steam from the bathroom.
The location to two rail stations is very convenient. Hotel staff were both professional and courteous. Breakfast and access to refreshments and reading materials is a nice offering.

United KingdomUnfortunately due to it being a winter month, the hotel AC was set to only provide warm air, so hot sleepers didn't get any relief as the windows were kept closed to keep out insects. The pillows provided were also rather solid and did take some getting used to. As standard in Japanese accomodation the bath was only big enough to sit in with legs crossed, not the most relaxing after a day of walking.
The location of the hotel was ideal for travelling around the prefecture and local sites with easy access to the JR and Meitetsu train lines. The room was basic but comfortable and the breakfast was the same. Simple cereal, sausages, egg, bread, rice, yoghurt, etc. A convenience store was right outside the hotel for quick food, drink or whatever else was requried.
