How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel is close to Kanda station . In the heart of Tokyo. Close to a lot of good restaurants. Hotel room very compact. Excellent Staff.

Rooms are extremely small
For a 3 star hotel, it offers good lv of services with daily cleaning and new towels, has a universal charger, kettle, and fridge.

Hotel room is just about what is to be expected as Tokyo standard I'm assuming, which means small, just enough to fit 2 people semi-comfortably. Bathroom of course also matching that, making it sometimes a bit difficult for someone above 180cm to move around.
Convenient location 5-10min walking distance from Kanda station with good connections to both JR and Metro Lines. Hotel staff were all really friendly and helped us with every request. Room has just about everything you need for a short term stay.

The rooms are quite small. But this is Tokyo. You do have to time your train rides into the tourist attractions / areas to avoid the busy train times. The bathrooms are very small and seem to be like an airplane toilet with a small bath in them. But again , this is Japan. If you want big western style rooms then you are going to pay for it.
Hotel is in a quite area of Tokyo. Good to avoid the hustle and bustle. Great restaurants / cafes around the train station. Close to the train station. 7 Amenities stores near the Hotel. Hotel is very clean . The staff are great and helpful. Thye have a washer and dryer and Microwave and drink vending machine downstairs. Good if you need to clean your clothes after being away skiing or hiking etc. The trade off here is good quality , very reasonable price for a Hotel room that is out of the main tourist areas. You just have to way up cost vs location convenience.

1. TV control remote out of battery but staff brought us battery immediately. Same as 1st visit. 2. Found a bag of washing powder under the bed which was not ours.
2nd time been there. Good location. Nice staff.

There was no room around the double bed. The room itself was small and compact.
The rooms were clean but small. The bathroom was adequate and the bench space in the room.

Convenient location that's only 7-9 mins walk from Kanda station, or a nice 30mins stroll from Tokyo station. The bedding is fantastic. Love the firm mattress and pillows!

The room is not big but well organised, clean and full of useful items. Enough space to keep your stuff. Location is perfect. The staff kindly helped us to send the luggage to the next hotel. There are several convenience stores nearby. It is very easy to reach any district of Tokyo.

Free water could have been provided. The toilet had some noise issues, it was running water continuously and needed to be flushed again to stop making noises, but it was a minor inconvenience.
it was quiet, undisturbed. The location is fantastic, only a 5-8min walk from Kanda Station, which is only 1 stop from Tokyo Station. there are 3 convenience stores in the vicinity. Overall value for money. The staff were friendly and spoke english really well, offered me support when even when i had to check at really odd hour.
