No availability of breakfast options in house. Meant we had to make alternative arrangements. It's a small inconvenience but it's much nicer being able to have breakfast at your own accommodation. Would have preferred a ski storage room within the actual building for better security of gear (they have an external site shed type arrangement), however Japan has a really low crime rate so probably not a big deal once you accept that.

I don't really want to complain because the place is fine. The main problem is that they don't provide any breakfast but that's easy to get around with a trip to Lawson. Other than that, the place is a bit old but you can live with that.

I mainly booked this hotel because it was the only one that had available rooms for the period we wanted. There's nothing particularly good about it but also nothing particularly bad. The best thing about it is the location close to the ski slope.

A pick up service from the bus terminal should be provided, it’s an uphill winding road and dragging a bag + a snowboard bag in the snow and slush was hard work .

On this trip, I've noticed quite a few hotels aren't always staffed at all hours. Perhaps each room could have a prominently placed "Fact Sheet" with common FAQ's for guests to refer to when the staff aren't around.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good location near enough town yet far away enough that nature is just outside. The rotenburo (outdoor onsen) was tiny but nice to have; it's literally and figuratively, forest bathing! 😁

The rooms were super hot, even when the heater inside was turned off. Had to open the window in mid-February just to have a decent temperature. Bath temperature (not the rotenburo) was far too hot for me.

Location was close to the lifts and not too far from the bus terminal. Lounge area was great for chilling with friends and killing time. The rotenburo was great too.

Spacious Japanese style room with great view. Friendly staff and service; Flexible check in process; A lot of entertainment facilities, although I only used Onsen.

The facilities are quite old. The room was dusty so me and my girlfriend were sneezing often. The bathroom light is yellow (because it's old), which is awkward and makes putting on makeup very difficult. Soundproofing is very bad, so you can hear people in other rooms. Accessibility to the outside onsen is annoying, since it is not directly connected to the indoor onsen.

The onsen is good, and the outside onsen is decently clean.
