Breakfast is unexpectedly poor. Not much choice, and is in Japanese style. Front desk staffs don’t speak much each. On Apr 9, the tall man wearing glasses, told us we cannot leave the luggage in the hotel for one day. On the next morning, Apr 10, when we checked out, I asked once again to be sure. And was told we are allowed to leave the luggage at the self service locker for 24 hours. Thanks to Ms 福田, I hope I wrote her name correctly. She is short, speak and understand English. She even showed us how to use the locker.

Location is unbearable. Right next to JR Sinkensen exit. Lots of shops and restaurants a round the area. Transportation is great too

The location is excellent, the room was great although very small, the bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Due to the small size of the room, there is little space to put your things or move around, if you are staying for more than 1 night its a bit tricky.

The rooms are better suited for lone business travellers. It was cramped for an old couple on holiday.

The breakfast was the worst we had ever experienced in Japan. The breakfast room was “ripe for renovation” with seat bases sagging. There was basically zero western food options. The Japanese food items had really been done on the cheap. This breakfast ruined an otherwise perfect hotel stay. Let’s hope management sort this out soon.

Location adjoining JR Kagoshimachuo rail station so it was perfect. The hotel looked to be almost brand new at December 2023. The room we selected was the larger option and there was plenty of space everywhere. It was equipped with a toilet in a separate room. Staff were polite and helpful.

I stayed 4 nights, very easy to acess to travel another city and there are lots of convenient stores malls to go shopping, buy something to eat. I absolutely choose this hotel next year!

I found the layout confusing - north & south ends no being connected. It would be good to have the food/restaurant situation clearer. My Japanese language is not good (first time in Japan) (my fault for not learning more) so I found it very difficult to know where to go, how to book breakfast beforehand. The staff did not ask if I wanted breakfast. None of the staff spoke any English and the signage was not clear. I know U shouldn’t expect English to be automatically accommodated, but it’s very common elsewhere and just a few clear signs in English would benefit the hotel as I would’ve used its facilities more. Once I found the restaurant & the staff allowed me in, it was really good, thanks.

The hotel only have one coin laundry machine and one drying machine (separately) when I did my stay, which while on a low season is fine, but having more laundry machine would be great shall the demand for rooms arise in the future.

The location is very convenient, it is located inside the JR station so you don't have to go far and just need to follow some signs. That said while it could be crowded in the station, the hotel has a relatively big and comfortable lobby inside. Food is plenty to find nearby and there is souvenir shop inside the station as well. The room is clean and modern. It's not what I will call spacious but the space and stuff they provide inside the room is adequate. The staff is also very helpful and understands english to a good degree when i asked for help to unlock my laundry from the machine. They also let me leave my luggage for awhile as I explore the city after I check out. Overall I'm very satisfied, really reccommends this hotel and hopefully I can go to Kagoshima again in the near future :)

Very handy ar the train station. The hotel is well kept and looks like new. Very clean.
