Amazing space in a great location. Minutes walk to the lake where you can catch a breathtaking view of Mt Fuji. Owner was extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable! Space was huge and more than sufficient for my family of four.

This villa is located probably the best place for Mount Fuji viewers. 2 mins walk and you are there! We’ve had a very late arrival due to delayed flights, but Hiro san was so helpful with all the travel details even step by step photos for us to find the place and made sure we have checked in. The villa was heated for us before arrival and that’s so considerate. The information folder in the room basically had everything you ever needed to know. Attention to details inside the cottage were also perfect. Everything is family friendly here and walkable distance to sight seeing bus and local attractions. Definitely recommend this place.

What a lovely place to stay. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and gave really good advice. It was also beautiful and the place was both big and clean. They were very accommodating and pick us up from the train station to. They have the option for you to what a barbecue in advance to the weather that one night. There’s also a really nice running path by the lake nearby.

As the villa location is closer to nature, some bug spray would be handy in case a insects manage to come inside.

The host family have been running this villa property for over 30 years. They were very friendly and gave us lots of handy information about the area including best restaurants and sight-seeing in the area. Because Mt Fuji wasn't always visible, they would whatsapp message me with a picture as soon as the clouds were clear telling me now is a good time to go and see it. The hosts even helped us reserve bus tickets to go to Mishima station which helped cut our journey time to Kyoto in half. The villa warm, quaint and well equipped with all the necessities you need for enjoyable stay. The location is just 3 minutes walk to the lake where you can see Mt Fuji directly opposite. Can't recommend this place enough.

Every thing is so nice the moment you came in Very homely feeling . Very well maintained villa The fact I chose this villa did not disappoint us at all as we have the best view of mt Fuji. Huge car park space and you can literally stand at the car park space to take all you want of Mt Fuji . We woke up at 4:00am to go for sunrise n view Mt Fuji - the lake is just 100 m walk . Spectacular and beautifully. The villa has beautiful in house cats and my kids love it so much . Drinking water straight from the tap- Mt Fuji water.. We have enjoyed our stay very much .

My friend and I had the most amazing time at this villa. Before we even arrived we received a lot of helpful information to plan our stay. The day of, we arrived late due to personal transportation issues and the staff were more than understanding about everything. They even came after hours to pick us up from the station. When we arrived to the villa we were blown away by our house. Everything looked even better than the pictures. The floors were heated, everything was very spacious and clean. We had a full kitchen, amenities in the bathroom and plenty of guides to help us find activities. The wifi was great and the whole house had such a humble charm to it. The lobby area is also adorable! We were immediately greeted by the sweetest cats I’ve ever met, maron and hana-chan :) The cats generally like to stay indoors in the check-in area so if you don’t want to interact with them you dont have to. My friend and I love cats so the owners were kind enough to let us play/pet them throughout the day! The staff went above and beyond to help us organize easy transportation to sightseeing spots around the area. Truly so many kind gestures. Breakfast from the rococo truck was also delicious! The villa is only a 3 minute walk from the lake and has an amazing view of the mountain. Can't wait to come back!

We booked a two night stay in Lake Villa Kawaguchiko cottage. It was raining heavily when my family and I arrived so we were quite moody about it. However, upon checking into this cottage, we were all delighted by the warm welcome from the host. He provided the much needed services like transporting our luggages to the cottage, recommending the nearby food restaurants, the nearby amenities and evaluating the weather conditions. The cottage is well equipped and with heated flooring. My kids were also so fascinated by their super cute cats. On the second night when retuning to the cottage, we were surprised to find the host waiting for us, he informed us there would be drastic drop in temperature the next day so we can prepare to get ready for it. He also hinted that the sky would be super clear the next morning and advised to try to wake up early to catch Mt be Fuji. We heeded his advice and was greeted with a fantastic view of Mt Fuji the next day! My family wants to thank the host for the truly amazing experience and comfortable stay.

Amazing location, just steps from the lake. We woke up early to catch the sunrise and stunning views of Fuji-san. Incredible! There's heating and A/C in each cottage, although we didn't need it. Our cottage had one room with tatami mats and also a room with actual beds. We wished we could have stayed longer. The cats that live at the lodge are super cute and friendly. (They stay indoors in the reception building). Also option to order a grill set up for dinner.

Great location, near kawaguchiko lake, can take early morning/evening walk with the view of mount fuji. There are modern style and Japanese style bedroom. Comfortable and warm house. There is a food truck early in the morning.The staffs are really helpful, informative, friendly, giving good recommendations. The public onsen was closed when we went there. They say it will be opening for tourist soon
