Staff were so kind and accommodating - gave us so much information re the area as well as discounts and promos for ski gear + onsens. The room itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable & the onsen was lovely! Breakfast was also delicious and location couldn’t have been better!

About the only thing that would make the property even better would be a private shower however the shared facilities were always clean and available when needed and as said the onsens were outstanding!

Fantastic location at the foot of the Nagasaka Gondola, wonderful hosts who really look after their guests, Kazu and Kana really made us feel at home from when they picked us up from the bus terminal to dropping us off! The room was spacious and cosy and the bed was comfy, there was also a choice of pillow depending on your need! Good selection of western and Japanese food for brekky and the dining area was really cosy, a great to spot to watch the snow falling and check the snow conditions from. We loved loved the in-house onsens which you can privately book, they were so relaxing and therapeutic after skiing all day! Would definitely stay again!

The only thing that in my opinion left something to be desired was the lack of private showers in the rooms. Nevertheless the shared shower was always clean and cozy.

Breakfast is great, the location is wonderful super close to the Nagasaka Station. The room was super comfortable and cozy. They have a nice private Onsen.

I liked everything. One of our group would have liked a top sheet as he found the doonas too hot.

This is a lovely small lodge. It’s simple but the rooms are spacious and light and clean. Breakfast was nice. The Japanese baths are lovely and easy to book . Location for ski access is brilliant and the family who run it are really nice.

The property has been refurbished and the new rooms are western style and a lot more comfortable than they were last year when we stayed, the best thing about the stay are the owners and their warm welcome and helpfulness during the stay.

Breakfast was home-cooked mini buffet, Japanese cooking. 4 mins walk to the nearest gondola. Private onsen for yourself (Just need to write room number at reception). Plenty of space to place your snow gears. Honestly it was exceptional for the price we paid.

The location is perfect for skiing: the gondola, ticket office, and rental shops are all a very short walk away. The hosts' hospitality was truly outstanding: they went out of our way to make us feel comfortable and welcome in every way possible, and helped us arrange our travel logistics and dinner reservations. I wish every place I stayed was so welcoming!

Amazing location! Right next to the main gondola. This location will not dissapoint! So clean, friendly host, amazing private onsen you can book daily, spacious and newly renovated rooms. We will be back.

Oyado Tamayura was only a 1 minute walk to the chair lift and gondolas and was truly ski in ski. There are two Onsen that you can book out so couples and families can use them privately which was great. We had breakfast included every morning which had a great selection of food options which was handy as finding gluten free food in Japan can be tricky, so having this as a quick and easy option allowed us to get up the mountain quicker without having to go and find breakfast. The staff at Oyado Tamayura were very helpful with all our questions and made us feel very welcome and comfortable for our stay. The whole property was kept super clean and stocked with anything you may need.

The family and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They cared about their customers. Helping to book taxis, find list items and book local restaurants. Plus, collecting guests from the bus station.

The breakfast was good and served in a very relaxed atmosphere. It was a nice mix of Japanese and Western styles. With a good selection. The staff were always on hand to help out.

Location was amazing as it was very close to the gondola and only a few minutes from restaurants. Breakfast was wholesome and great to start the day. Also the private onsens were amazing after a long day on the mountain.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. They provided a shuttle service to pick us up from the bus terminal. Breakfast each morning was amazing. Location was great - very close to the main gondola. Private Onsen was wonderful. Washing machine and dryer facilities were available too. This accommodation is incredible. Thanks so much! We loved our stay.

Can’t beat the location, you can basically ski to the doorstep. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. The place was very clean and the onsens were wonderful to use after a long day of skiing (which you can rent out to use privately) Breakfast each morning was a pleasant surprise and the restaurant within the property had phenomenal waygu! We will defiantly be visiting Nozawa and Tamayura again!
