The double standard room has just that - a double bed - and a very, very firm one at that!

Located right in the heart of the city and an easy walk from the train station. The hotel is walking distance to the main tourist sights and surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel was well appointed and the staff went above and beyond to help us book a private onsen experience. The cafe downstairs made breakfast super easy and accessible.

The location is perfect. The lady by the reception spoke very good English. The room was comfy for a night. The breakfast was also fine and I was happy because I found espresso in the coffee machine :)

If you get a room at the back of the building and open the window (like I like to do when sleeping), the noise really does travel. Karaoke at 2am was too much

Standard hotel. Nothing massively stands out apart from the location. It’s very close to the station and to the castle. There’s a restaurant downstairs where a robot serves you. That was pretty cool.

Cozy and comfortable hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Amazing value for money. Matsumoto is a lovely and cozy town surrounded by magnificent mountains and almost no foreign tourists. There's an impressive castle nearby in 15 ,in. Highly recommend!

We did not appreciate the carpet flooring, wooden flooring or tiles would be preferred. That means less dust.

The bathroom was a little less clean than it could have been. It's a small thing but always a little squicky to see stray hair from a previous guest.

Staff were simply excellent - welcoming and professional. The hotel itself was much nicer than I expected, our room was lovely and the location was brilliant. Car park attendants were very friendly and helpful and it was wonderful to have access to parking in the centre of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

The price was a bit too high for my taste. Ideally breakfast should have been included in the price. I paid less in Tokyo with breakfast included, and similar facilities. To add, the price for the breakfast was also expensive.

The hotel was in a good location (near the train and bus station). The room was fairly spacious, and super clean.

The room was small, and generally ok for me, but I can't imagine two people in the room or having more luggage. The coffee in the room was not good. The hand soap in the bathroom had an extremely strong perfume scent and wish they would have something unscented. Thankfully, I always bring some of my own hand soap for this reason.

The location was great and check-in was easy. The staff were very helpful. My room had a great view of the mountains and it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and both the mini fridge and water kettle were nice to have.

We came to Matsumoto to explore the castle. This hotel was located both close to the train station and to the castle. As a bonus, there were plenty of restaurants close by.

Did not have many charging points close to the bed and did not have universal charging ports.

Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy, free wifi was good, amenities were nice to have, towel service was good. Location was situated close to the station and within walking distance.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. A few minutes walk from Matsumoto station and walking distance to Matsumoto castle. I found the info page in each room in the tv that gives a status dining table and laundry service availability very helpful during our stay

The hotel was not to far from the station. There is a department store right behind of the hotel with familly mart next to the hotel. The staff are nice. There are amenities provide at the lobby which is great.
