Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesA slightly larger room would have been great, but can't knock the hotel for this as they offer a top-tier experience for a small space.
Extremely comfortable, convenient, with tons of amenities and easy monorail access to Tokyo. Though the room was small, it was replete with upgraded features like a steam closet, and deep soaking tub. Being able to monitor laundry from the television and free shuttle to mall and Disney were a big plus. The included breakfast buffet was comprehensive and well organized.

United StatesRestaurants in Haneda Garden opened later than my jet lag mind, so couldn’t explore the shops the next morning before going to Tokyo.
Hotel location was perfectly close to walk to after exiting customs and super exhausted after a 12 hour flight. Trying to figure out the train system at 21:00 at night and finding our hotel that late and in an exhausted state would not be ideal. Relaxing in the hotel onsen was extra relaxing after a good sleep lying flat on a bed. Plus I was adjusting to the time zone change and could sleep in past 4:30 Tokyo time. Food choices in terminal 3 was plenty to find something you want to eat.

United StatesIt’s not so much about what we didn’t like, it’s the fact our schedule would not allow us to stay longer.
This is just the most beautiful hotels that we’ve stayed. Check in is always a breeze.

Hotel has a laundry room which you can actually check the availability with the room’s TV. (Where you can find info about other facilities at the hotel) Landry room was the best feature so you do not need to wash much clothes when you get home. Restaurants and shops on that side of the airport (airport garden) is not busy at all so no queues, more selections at the shops so I will defo book this hotel again next time. Highly recommended. Also my package was with the ticket to use the hot spring, you should go before it gets dark like around the sunset or in the morning so that view is better:

AustraliaRoom a little cramped. Bed not that comfortable. Fairly expensive to get train into city.
Very convenient in the airport terminal as we had a late arriving flight one evening and an early morning flight two days later. The Onsen access was great, and we were sorry not to have been able to use it more. Despite being a large property, there was rarely a wait for the lifts and the internet access was fantastic.

AustraliaThe room could be bigger, but if you are staying a couple nights it should be good.
Located at the Haneda Airport less than 5 min walk from the departure and easy access to the train and monorail. Staff is friendly and amazing check-in/out process. Good restaurant and plenty of food options, but be mindful that it can be busy at times as it is a large hotel.

United KingdomIt is very large and always busy. We didn’t have breakfast there but the in-room display warned of 30 minute waits at 0730! It’s impersonal as you would expect from a hotel that most people are staying in for one night.
Its convenience to the airport is its main selling point. The rooms and bathroom are bigger than usual in Japan and there are lots of restaurants and a convenience store on the doorstep.

AustraliaWould stay again, no complaints
This hotel is an easy walk from the airport terminal and all undercover. Our luggage was booked through to London so we only had hand luggage. Easy to check in with machines but help offered by reception staff. The room was immaculate, good quality toiletries, help your self to tea , coffee , milk etc as you approach the elevator on ground floor as they are not in your room . Try the Japanese Onsen in the hotel. Yes, it can be a bit daunting for a western person to strip naked and bathe with others but after 10 mins of adjusting, it’s a new normal. Another life experience ticked off !! Gin and tonics in bar very reasonable.

United KingdomAir conditioning unit was noisy and location of bed direct underneath window resulted in early morning brightness and a disturbed sleep.
The hotel is an excellent choice for early morning flights being located in the 'Garden Village' area of Terminal 3 at Haneda International Airport. The bedroom was of a good size with a comfortable bed, TV and good bathroom facilities. Bottled water was provided in the room and additional beverage and bathroom products were readily available near reception. Breakfast was buffet style served in the main restaurant, providing an extensive choice of food and drinks. The Onsen facilities were excellent and maintained to a high standard.
