The location of the hotel is at a quiet and convenient neighbourhood. A family mart is four minutes aways by walking, and a coin operated laundry service takes you six minutes. We enjoyed an early morning walking to family mart to buy our breakfast. Having said that, it is a bit far from the major tourism attractions if you don't drive a car. Nevertheless, Aomori area is not densely populated like central Japanese cities and the distance between various sites tend to be much longer than your usual understanding of Japan. It is more like a place in North America. Exploring the area without a rental car would be problematic any way.

This is truly a unique hotel in Japan, kind of a combination of the convenience of American motels and the cleanness and comfortability of the standard Japanese style. Moreover, this is a hotel with a heart, which means that it is not just a standard place to stay with standard settings, it is designed and set up with talented mind and passionate heart. Even the lotions in the bathroom are carefully selected. And I must mention the manager, who is a true treasure of the place. He is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. It really makes one feel good just by talking to him.

First time writing a review, but I felt compelled to since my partner and I had such a great experience. Big thanks to Wataru (hotel director) and his team for making our stay very enjoyable. Wataru booked restaurants for us to eat at, drove us to these places and points of interest we wanted to visit during the day like Hirosaki Castle (since we didn’t rent a car), and was always there for us if we needed anything via WhatsApp. The room itself was quite spacious and included a lot of useful items and amenities, such as drinks (including alcohol in the fridge at no additional cost), skin care products, large bath and plenty more. The hotel also provides you with a bento box (Japanese style) breakfast every morning at no additional cost. Overall the hotel was very accommodating and good value for money - we would definitely visit again in the future.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t enjoy.

Our garden suite was beautifully done and had a lovely sense of space. It was blissfully quiet, an oasis of calm with outstanding service from the staff. They couldn’t have improved on the VIP quality of service we received. The hotel is 5km out of town, but the service of a driver/taxi almost every time we wanted to go into town or return from town made the location easy to manage. Being out of the centre turned out to be an extra bonus, in fact, as we were able to walk to local restaurants and experience life and cuisine as the locals do. Restaurant recommendations from the staff (with bookings also managed by them) were excellent. The bento breakfasts felt quirky (purely because they were unfamiliar) but were delicious. We wouldn’t hesitate going back.

Wasn’t clear when I made the booking that we booked a smoking room, disappointed as we dont smoke and the smell was lingering in the room. The hotel was also about an hour walk away from central Hirsoaki and difficult to get to with public transportation but we didnt mind the walk!

Big and spacious especially for Japan! The amenities were great and the room was very clean, staff was english speaking which was a relief compared to our other hotel experiences in Japan. Spent more time in the room than expected as it was so nice and spacious!

Wataru, the manager, went way above and beyond to make out stay excellent. He contacted me in advance to our stay, arranged to pick us up from the station, and helped us navigate around Hirosaki, including taking us to a camera store, and making restaurant recommendations and reservations.

Everything was very nice, the breakfast served in the suite was copious and delicious, everything was clean and well done. A big thanks to Wataru for helping out and driving us when needed. The next time that we come to Japan we're coming back here for sure. + The shower was insaaaane, and they give you all the beauty products that you could need and such. Overall it was just perfect. The AC did not get super cold

Super communicative and even gave use rides into town and to the mountain to explore :) the breakfast was the best we have had in Japan and was so nice to have it delivered to the room! Great clean hotel, a bit out of city center. Massively spacious for its price. Easy to communicate with the hotel through WhatsApp. On-site food and drinks available. The staff was beyond exceptional, offered car rides into the city both on the evening of the festival and after checking out. Super friendly and great English both from the manager and car drivers.

In honesy, the location isn't great for getting into the town centre and travel links a limited. However, the hotel staff do all they can and more to make up for that. Don't let it bother you.

The staff here are absolutely amazing. They go beyond to make your stay as perfect as can be. Free breakfasts, lifts too and from the town centres. Super friendly abd accommodating. Modern ryokan style rooms with great facilities. Bento breakfasts delivered to your door

Wattaru is an excellent host. From the time we reached and until the time we left, he was taking care of us. He was providing all the right info so that we can plan our stay and visit to the Hirosaki Park foe Cherry Blossoms. Another thing worth mentioning is the breakfast. It was delicious. The Zen garden looks beautiful.

Nothing! It was stunning!

The traditional japan mixed with the modern in the perfect blend! We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble and it was the perfect way to relax after a day on the bullet train and walking round Hirosaki Park…… we stayed during the sekura festival, and it felt Like a really local experience. I would advise it’s much quieter than Tokyo and other cities so be prepared. Spotlessly clean and lots of extra thoughtful touches! Simply a perfect stay!
