Everything was faultless.

Spotlessly clean, spacious room, more like a mini suite really. Comfortable bed and mountain views from the windows. Attention to detail was noticeable; a very professionally run guesthouse in a peaceful location. Excellent breakfasts (something different every day) served in a communal dining room, an excellent way to meet other travellers. Very attentive hosts, Svetlana and Sasha, and the lovely kind lady who served breakfast spoke enough English to overcome the language barrier.

Linens are changed once a week. I would prefer every 3-4 days. However, clean towels are provided if you ask. Occasionally replenishing of the toilet paper had to be requested.

I have stayed at Argo several times. It is consistently clean, pleasant, comfortable and a great value. The breakfast is substantial. The owner and staff are accommodating and very hospitable. They sincerely seem to enjoy what they do. Every thing functions well and it is safe.

Very helpful family who helped us organise our trip. She got up at 5 am to make us breakfast. We could leave our car on their property. She found my headphones which I thought I would have lost. We could clean our hiking sticks. Thanks a lot for everything

The tiny barking dog...

Amazing sense of hospitality. Svetlana, the owner, was very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast is great and the room is quite luxurious and cozy. It looked like a chalet (mountain lodge) and they had solar panel, which is very rare in Kyrgyzstan. Laundry was 300som. They also have parking spots.

I don't think there is anything that could be better than what the Argo Guesthouse offers: beautiful room with good bedside reading lamps; superior linens; bathrobes; great bathroom; spotlessly clean; private veranda; great breakfast. I've paid far more for accommodation that is inferior to the Argo. I very highly recommend this guesthouse!

The property is really comfortable and extremely clean, it’s a family home and the hostess is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is excellent, tasty and varied, there is a nice garden and pleasant balcony with views of the mountains, the WiFi worked well. With a fantastic view of the mountains and garden from the balcony, my stay at Argo was supremely comfortable. Amazing mattress, delicious breakfast, hot shower, warm hospitality, tasteful decor and additional amenities made me not want to leave. 10/10

The hosts, Svetlana and Alexander were very welcoming. They have a lovely home, with big rooms and comfy beds. The breakfast was also always great (some bread, eggs, fruit, Yoghurt etc). There is a super market close by and it is also close to Meeting Point, the most popular backpacker hangout

Nothing All perfect

The room was quite big with a king size bed and excellent mattress. Very quiet with an access to the balcony above the beautiful garden/ orchard. The woman and her husband running the guest house are very helpful and welcoming. Their breakfast is the best one I had during this Kyrgyz trip. Their dog Lemon is an “amour “. I really enjoyed those 2 days spent at their place. The lake and the spots in Karakol are worth a visit. I highly recommend this place

Until now it was the best accommodation I had in Kyrgyzstan so far. I like mostly the cozy atmosphere and nice interior in the room, hosts are super friendly and breakfast is just great. I've felt the same time being in Kyrgyzstan as at home.
