How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I deliberately picked a hotel outside central area and pub street. Hotel/rooms very nice, great pool, several restaurants and spa. Breakfast choice great and staff extremely friendly and helpful to accommodate questions.

Best position next to the palace 200 mto the museun. The rooftop bar is fabulous, and the coctails are very good.

Room a bit small. Bathroom has no external window. Not many hangers provided but as we stayed only 2 nights, it was not an issue.

The location was excellent with the Royal Palace, Royal Museum and the lively riverside Sisowath Quay close by . The reception staff were courteous and very efficient during the checking in . The breakfast had a good spread. Restaurants, minimarts and roadside food stalls lining up St 178 , where the hotel is located, one is spoiled for choice for lunch and dinner.

Very nice hotel in great location to Phnom Penh's attractions with views over Royal Palace and the river front. I believe superior rooms also offer balconies with views but the standard rooms without balconies where I stayed are also very comfortable and quiet. A variety of good eateries in short walking distance. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. I liked the roof-top pool and bar with views over the lively river promenade. Good buffet breakfast was included in the rate.

Hotel old and dated and needs renovating. Breakfast had limited choice with no egg cooking station. . Limited toiletries provided with no hand soap in room.
Great location for Royal palace and local restaurants. Wonderful views from rooftop bar and pool. Staff friendly and helpful and free room upgrade.

Was surprised that the Rooftop Bar and restaurants were not affiliated to the Hotel, so you could not charge to your hotel room. Towels were worn and threadbare. Breakfast was a little skimpy and if you went later items weren't frequently replenished but you just had to ask.
Our deluxe room and view overlooking the Royal Palace! All staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. Pool area was lovely with 5 loungers, but did have small tables and chairs. Property was very clean.

No window in my room so just soecify that you want one with outside light
Amazing location. Very nice and polite staff. Food at the skybar was good and nice Riverside view. Room was big and super clean but no view/window where I stayed unfortunately. Breakfast was ok but best was the Pho station where someone would do your soup on demand every morning.

The 'flexi baths' focus the mind. Shower over bath which is perfectly safe but the bath floor is perhaps a little bouncier than you're used to!
This is a brilliant hotel in the heart of town, overlooking the Royal Palace and Gardens. Superb staff, check out Paul on daytime reception (get him to sing to you...). Tuk tuks on hand outside the hotel door, No10 is a good guy Great rooftop bar and pool Breakfast is excellent with lots of choice

Only the room on the first floor out to the street was very loud.

Don’t forget where you are when it comes to complaints about things that don’t meet your expectations!
Always a good place when you stay in the city! Especially the great view from the rooftop swimming pool!

Needed couple more options to the breakfast. Very strange that when I checked in for a family of 4 was told I booked a room with 1 bed which I know I didn't! But was given a room with 2 beds easily enough.
Nice location, very quiet at night yet just close to the riverside.

Cold fried eggs and beans for breakfast rather disappointing!Breakfast could be upgraded.
I often stay in the charming Frangipani which is perfectly located opposite the Royal Palace next to the National Museum and the river nearby. Great roof top pool and views. Also had excellent balcony room. Thank you.

Excellent location overlooking the Royal Palace and National Museum. Charming building with lovely front room and small balcony. Pleasant breakfast and lovely roof pool with outstanding views.
