Nice facilities and friendly staff. Let down by the fact it was incredibly hard to find. Spoke to like three taxi drivers and used 3 different navigation systems. Could be helpful to advertise on English websites, that the site is "formerly known as Guro hotel." One of those mis-translation/poor update of information ordeals.

Being picky, I would say that for a 4 star hotel in Korea the expectation would be that the toilet would have all the bells and whistles, however it was just a standard toilet which was a little disappointing.

The location was not in central Seoul, but it was only a 5 minute walk (depending on lights) from the metro and had a hypermart, several convenience stores and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff at the desk spoke excellent English and the Airport Limousine had a stop right outside the entrance.

Air conditioning is controlled by the central system, not individual rooms. When people next door secretly smoked, the air just spread to our room and the room was quite hot in day time that made us requested the staff to bring as a fan.

Other members of staff were not as friendly. The first day during check-in I felt very rushed by the ladies at the reception, and I did not feel particularly welcomed.

Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The kind lady at the bar gave me some tips about places to see in Seoul. The buffet food was also pretty good. Room was comfortable, very spacious, and clean.

The ad claims the room is 30 square meters, but it feels smaller in reality. The washing machine in the laundry room is noticeably dirty. I sense that most of the receptionists are unfriendly; I won't be returning.

They didn’t provide me a solid soap every day. One of the staffs during the breakfast needs to be trained again. He just took my empty place but I was still having a breakfast.

There were no shelves in the bathroom to put our shaving kits and other accessories.

The people on the front desk were exceptional. Very helpful and very kind. The manager on the night we left was extremely helpful. I think he went beyond his duties to make us feel comfortable and he even helped us with our luggage. He was exceptional and deserves to be mentioned.

Hotel staff can be a bit flexible in terms of early check-in or late check-out requests. They seem to be very rigid. Business travellers will appreciate it if they adopt a more accommodative approach.
