If you really want us to find a detail to improve, the shower curtain was not convenient, switching it for something else would be great.

Staff was great ! Very friendly, helpful, they could also organize a tailored day trip for us. They have nice food, cocktails and a beautiful view on the river from the pool and the terrace. Everything is really worth it and great western standard. Thank you Sebastian !

Very good. But the property would deserve a little renovation with the rooms and especially the bathroom.

The felicities are a bit old. For instance it was difficult to close the door. There is no AC, and the bathroom was very basic (as basic as a guesthouse).

The pool with the view is really nice. The hotel is a little piece of paradise!

As other people remarked, the materasses are a bit hard. There is no air conditioning, only fan. That wouldn’t be a problem - if the windows had a mosquito protection…

Beautiful view on the river from the bungalow, a nice swimming pool, quiet atmosphere. A very good breakfast buffet. Friendly dogs. Walking distance to the bus station, but a ten minutes walk to the village center

There is absolutely nothing to dislike

An absolutely amazing place to stay during my short time in Nong Khiaw. An idyllic setting on the river in a very comfortable rustic, authentic bungalow surrounded by lush vegetation. Peaceful and relaxing providing a very enjoyable visit. A big thank you to Kenny, Nick and all the team for being so welcoming, friendly and making my stay that extra special.

Nothing. It is 1 km to the bridge, which might be a bit far for some. It's a very easy walk

The owner - great attitude really cares about the locals. The restaurant area is so nice to relax in, day or night. The pool is small but beautiful, facing the river and a massive 100m-high lump of rock on the other side!. Very good breakfast.. A bonus. is that the hotel is only 170m from the bus station. Ignore the scramble. for tuc tucs, take your bags and walk across the road!

Uncomfortable seating options on the balcony , bed was very hard .

Unbeatable location , very secluded and welcoming accommodation. A lot of touchy details . The pool was a bless, rooms were a little bit basic but clean . We ate all our meals at the restaurant , prices were so fair for the quality given and the breakfast buffet was very good. The owner had the patience to answer all our questions and curiosity we had , very friendly .

We stayed for three days at Mandala and absolutely LOVED it 💜 Amazing location and views, great setup with pool and lounge area, super friendly and helpful owner/manager/staff, sweet dogs, and really really good food (the laap was fantastic). Mr Wans boattrip was one of the highlights! We hope to come back one day🙏🏼 Garden bungalows we stayed in were comfortable and nicely decorated, could be experienced as a bit humid but then again you’re staying in unique sustainable housing near the riverside

What we liked at Mandala Ou in Nong Khiaw? Everything!! It is such a nice place to stay, really cosy furnished bungalows, with a infinity pool and relaxing chairs to look over the river Ou and the jungle on the other side. And: it is the perfect service, hospitality and empathy of Nic, his wife and the entire team!!! So: there are good reasons to come back to Mandala Ou soon after 4 days this time and three days in 2020!

absolutely gorgeous view. lovely room. amazing reception and staff service. pool with reflection of mountain and sky!!! Delicious dinner. Puppy. Honestly, this place is quite remote so I didn't expect high end. Amazingly luxurious for the hotel's remote location. Not 100% perfect big city luxury but still, WOW!

The room was only set up for one bed, where it said multiple. The bedding was also not very clean and smelled of body odour. The bedside lighting was not working either

Everything was great, no negatives to report!

This is a great place to stay when you visit Nong Khiaw and the surrounding villages. The hotel is a little bit out of the centre, which is nice and relaxing and away from a lot of the noise in the evenings. The view was exceptional and particularly enjoyable from the nice cold infinity pool. The food was really delicious, we ended up having all of our meals there! I particularly want to highlight how great Kenny and Nic are (and in fact all of the staff there too!) They were so patient with our 100s of questions and made it so much easier to maximise our time there by giving us useful advice, organising transfers and pointing us in the right direction for tours. They made the stay extra nice. Definitely recommend!

Bathroom - water was barely hot and there was no hairdryer + no door and an open window to the room. Felt a bit unnecessary

Great stay at Mandala Ou! Really liked the river view, the breakfast quality, the room decoration Breakfast was really good too Also liked the fact that the hotel is a bit further away from the center in a calmer area

    No complaints

Mandala Ou has an excellent riverfront location, with spectacular views, splendid landscaping and design, and a scrumptious breakfast. It has the only swimming pool in Nang Kieaw, with comfy lounge chairs and a full-service bar restaurant. The welcoming hosts offered enlightening discussions and valuable local travel tips.

A beautiful boutique hotel built and run with love! Nick and Kenny are great hosts who want you to feel very much at home. I had help with different aspects of my trip, ate wonderful food, played with the dogs, relaxed by the pool… Breakfast buffet is plentiful and being able to cycle around town for free was appreciated. It is a bit expensive if you’re going to spend all of your time out hiking etc so I encourage people to take some time out after you’ve done your activities in a quiet part of town and relax here!

The price for the standard room in the back is overpriced for the comfort offered (no view, room is dark, a bit musty as there is no window for ventilation, only via the door. The concrete beds are not very comfortable. The furnishings are rather simple.

Good location, a bit off the centre, but bicycles available. The rooms facing the river have a nice view. The rooms at the back are not so great. Breakfast is varied and the food in the restaurant is delicious.

The bikes could use an update as the ride wasn't the most comfortable, but I understand they are getting new bikes soon

The staff! Amazingly welcoming. The food was also excellent, with the mango sticky rice stealing the show.
