Really nice personnel, the hostel is not too far from the city and can walk there which is perfect ! The room was alright, for the price we’re paying it’s perfect. I really recommended it.

Great little stop over place in Kandy. All the necessary facilities. I walked from the train station all the way to the hostel. I wouldn’t recommend it XD. Didn’t know the hostel was halfway up a little mountain. It’s a great view but a pain in the ass to walk up XD. Just get an Uber. The app works in kandy. It is nice to walk through. Main temple isn’t too far away.

The kitchen facilities were a little restricted to use, which made things a bit difficult since shops wee mostly closed for the Sinhala and Tamil new year. The toilet flush is very weak. Need to use extra water to clean one's business properly. The top bed of the dorm was very shaky. The management was a little lack luster. But it is a good place to stay if you're only planning to sleep there. Not a very social hostel

The location was nice and had a view of Kandy that was a treat to wake up to. The beds are comfortable and clean. The place was overall pretty clean, enough that I could walk barefoot in the common spaces

At night no water bottle was available, also the caretaker is alone to take care of the hostel and not understand English properly. There is a kitchen but there is no cooking or tea coffee making facilities.

The bed and bathroom were clean. Got fresh Towel and soap. Mosquito net was there. It's worth it for budget travelers.

The mattresses of the bunk beds are thinner so I would recommend if you can choose to get a normal bed in the dorm. The toilet didn’t work well. If someone had to go for number 2, he/she had to flush additional with a bucket of water so that everything is gone

Up on the hill.. quite a climb

Up on the hill, view over the lake. You can hear the birds and nature sounds in the early mornings. Host is friendly and helpful. There’s towel, soap & a blanket. And a good price!

The signal for the WiFi wasn't great so I ended up just turning my WiFi off and used my own data.

The bathroom could be a bit cleaner. Toilet didn't flush well, also the door closes with afford and makes noise. Would ne nice that next to bed would be some electricity plug and reading lamp, so doesnt need to put in general light and disturb others.

The staff are very friendly and hospitable. We were offered complimentary tea and coffee twice during our 2 night stay. The room was slightly dated, but for the price you pay for the room it was definitely worth it.

Definitely get a ride when you first arrive with your bags! The hill is a bit of a struggle carrying everything.

I only stayed one night but was really happy with my stay. Great value for a clean and spacious private room. Nice location close to good restaurants, the lake, and a doable walk to the tourist sights. The view is incredible from the balcony.
