Very nice hosts, delicious food, the location next to the railway tracks is surprising and it is very noisy and you have to get used to it :) The nearest grocery store is approximately 5 km away in Ahangama. An intimate beach very close with beautiful sunsets. Lots of surfing spots and surfboard rentals. Cheap and tasty restaurants on the street towards Koggala Beach. Kabalana beach We recommend!

Lasindu Guest house is officially my place to stay in the Ahangama, Medigama, Kabalana area. Awesome place to be located to surf all the local waves. I was made to feel like family - Ami and Yamuna are simply the best hosts you could ever ask for. Phenomenal breakfasts, fresh fabulous local coffee, spotless rooms, comfy beds, great views, and all the amenities at your fingertips! I felt totally taken care of in terms of connections, transport, local recommendations and any request under the sun. I love this place. 12 stars out of 10 in my opinion. I inly wish I could have stayed here longer.

Noise from the train - it is really close. It didn't disturb me too much, but it should be counted. Internet speed is not enough for work. But I think it's enough for vacation.

My girlfriend and I spent 5 nights here at the end of our trip to Sri Lanka. Could not have asked for more- amazing hosts, really kind and thoughtful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Rooms were really clean with air conditioning and the beds really comfy. The trains pass quite frequently in the day which are loud but they don’t seem to go past at night. Would recommend to anyone, we will be back!

Excellent breakfast and lots of it, including good coffee, a variety of fresh fruit and juice each morning. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Ami and Anusha went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in their home and it is easy to see why so many travellers return each year like us.

It gets pretty hot in the room. They brought me an additional fan what was very kind.

Very friendly family. They gave me a free upgrade because the smaller room I'd booked was not available. Good location only some metres from the beach. To the surf rentals it's a 10 min walk. I didn't feel disturbed by the train, even thought it's cool somehow 🙂 The best breakfast I had in 4 weeks Sri Lanka! Go for the more expensive room, it's worth the few rupia more.

aside from the fantastic accommodation, it is unfortunately very close to the train tracks which can be very loud.

the family / staff here was amazing and the service was impeccable. This was the CLEANEST place we stayed at within 4 months of travelling in Sri Lanka. The breakfast is also amazing! The staff are overly helpful and go out of their way to give the best service.

Lasindu Guesthouse is our favorite spot in the world ! The family of Ami and Yamuna is so friendly, helpfull, the hospitality in that place is above excellent. Ask Ami anything and he’ll do everything to make it happen or help you out with a big smile. Over the years we’ve seen many people coming for a couple of days and eventually staying for weeks. Yamuna is a God in the kitchen, tell them you’re interested in getting to know about local food and fruits and you’ll be surprised over and over again during the breakfast time. It’s nice to see that every season when we come back, there’s always little or big improvements to the house and rooms, always to make the experience of their guests better. Staying here is like coming home!

Lovely friendly hosts, who were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The guest house was exceptionally clean and very relaxed. Large tasty breakfast was on offer, but tailored to what you wanted. Good value for money and one of the nicest places we have stayed.

Very lovely place to stay! The owners are very welcoming, helpful and nice. It's clean you find comfortable beds, good wifi connection and a tasty breakfast and your a close to Kabalana beach where you can swim and surf. Would always come back here!

Lasindu Guest House is in perfect location right behind Ahagama beach and surf spots. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was lovely. Breakfast was also included and it was plenty of!! I couldn’t reccommend this place more:)! Thank you 🙏🏼💛
