The internet could be better. We couldn't work from there and this was the only one reason why we decided to go to another place

Very friendly staff. When we checked in, there was a problem with the air conditioning in the room where we planned to move in, which we were immediately told about and offered other options (we ended up checking into this room because the problem turned out to be trivial for us). As a result, a clean room awaited us, into which only one small bug entered during the entire week of our stay. When, due to weak Internet, we decided to check out earlier, the owner was understanding and returned the money for the week we had not lived. Also, I want to say my special thanks to Ashan for his help on finding my aligners that I forgot on my check out. Thanks a lot, mate!

The breakfast was really good, the people in charge of the place took really good care of us. The hospitality was amazing, loved the place, the food and the staff. Would recommend you to stay here.

The doors and the locks were not the greatest… I think as a six-year-old woman I could've kicked them in. But maybe it's very safe in the area so heavy doors are not necessary.

There was a lovely coffee shop next-door to have a nice cappuccino. It was in walking distance to the beach… About five minutes or less.

Breakfast wasn't as good as some other places we stayed at in Sri Lanka.

Friendly staff who were very helpful with organising airport transfers. Aircon room very comfortable. Location amazing for walking to the beach.

Not much! Perhaps the water pressure on the showers could have been better.

The room was large with those smooth concrete walls and floor - so both physically cool and stylishly ‘cool’, with small accents like a teak sofa with blue velvety cushions; two wicker chairs and a beautiful picture above the beds. There was a tiny ‘courtyard’ outside which let in lovely light. It was very clean; the beds were comfortable; the shower was hot (and there were two shower heads - great for a family); etc. It was the most comfortable stay we had on our trip. The front desk was manned by two lovely local guys who were very smiley and helpful. It was a minute from the beach, too, and a minute the other way from a load of great cafes. Ideal.

They do not take card payments and that can be a hassle sometimes.

The rooms were clean when they were handed over to us. We had a lovely balcony with a lot of trees providing shade. The property in itself was also quite clean and nice. Simple and easygoing. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. The location is also perfet because the beach is a 5 min walk away.

The door to the room does not seem very secure since it is closed with a latch from the inside and when you leave it does not close completely only with the key.

Lots of mosquito’s in the courtyard and there was also no water provided in the room. The WiFi was also not working for the first 2 days of our stay and when it did work, it wasn’t up to much.

Amazing location, only 5 mins walk to the beach and near to a lot of restaurants. The room was huge as was the bathroom. The room was cleaned every day which we haven’t had in Sri Lanka before and the breakfast was amazing. The kids especially loved it!

Not very punctual in terms of the breakfast - we have been told it’s served from 7, when we came 7:30 we had to wait 40min for it, as nothing was ready yet (and we had a trip booked in the morning, so time was of the essence) The rooms are visible clean but one night coming back to the we found a lizard and a cockroach in our room - I guess they are not very hermetic! So just be prepared to potential surprises

Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped rooms - we had all we needed for a couple nights stay. The rooms are clean and the staff welcoming. It’s close to the beach and the main road, at the same time very quiet.

It is in an excellent location. We walked to enjoy dinner on the beach. The room was huge and very clean. Beds were really comfortable. Also had patio doors opening onto a courtyard garden where we could watch monkeys. The staff were really lovely.
