A few minor irritations with flies and mosquitoes is about the only negative. My inability to source an effective, long lasting repellent is probably more to blame there. Nature Inn does supply good quality mosquito nets over the beds.

Good value for money. Good host family, friendly and helpful. Good location, close to beaches but far enough away from the busy main road. Good surroundings, quiet, nice garden, and the property backs on to a natural wetland area full of interesting wildlife. If I find myself in Mirissa in the future, it would be good to stay at NATURE INN again.

The included breakfast was very poor, we had asked for coffee the night before but they served us tea. The owner has his own tuk tuk and took us around mirissa, he’s a bit grumpy and barely speaks English, we’ve never felt really welcomed.

We got the upstairs room. Really nice view on the little lagoon and in between trees. Good mosquito net that covers the whole bed.

We didn't have any toiletpaper and also never received any after asking for it. The pillows were very bad. They were very flat and hard as a rock. The host was a bit too pushy and already sent me a lot of messages before arriving. Also after our stay he kept on texting me even when I stopped replying. He insisted on bringing us to our next accomodation with his tuktuk (nice thought), but charges us quite a lot for it in comparison to others.

The hosts helped us to book a scooter to use during our stay. Close to the beach, little shops and restaurants. It was no problem to have dinner there. They asked a small fee but it was worth it. We asked for breakfast on the go as we left early in the morning, which we got.

Place was really clean with no big downsides. Great deal for money. We didn't see monkeys during breakfast, but we ran into them 500m away on the road to Coconut Hill.

Really nice stay, the place is clean, close to the beach and enough far from the crowd to enjoy the monkeys in the morning, a simple breakfast and really nice owners that will help you in anything with pleasure. thanks again for welcoming us!

Stunning location - the garden is home to a wide array of animals so make sure you make time to have breakfast there. The owner is friendly and helpful.

- the toilet seat was cracked - no soap, no toilet paper ( they gave me a roll after I asked for it) - the towel holder was holding only on one side - dead leaves and spider web in the sink - Can’t lock the bathroom door - only one electrical outlet. So it’s either the fan or whatever device you need to charge - Pillows were horrible

The host contacted me in advance and requested that I bring him some supplements from Poland which I did. I haven't even heard a "thank you" for bringing it across the globe all the way to Sri Lanka. Upon arrival I realized that the accommodation did not match the description. There was no wifi, the bathroom was really dirty and the villa had neither a kitchen nor a fridge. When confronted, the host was acting unprofessional and mean, asking me to leave. So I left. Nobody offered me breakfast in the morning.

The host is kind of rude . He asked me to vacate the next morning at 8 am but my check out time is 11 am. I thought tof going to the beach and come back to vacate . He flopped my plans .He said some white girl is going to check in .

No hot water, billions of mosquitoes and room with open gaps not protected by mosquito net. Owner not very accommodating, unreasonable and rude at times for absolutely no reason if not dealing badly with the services offered.

It's cheap and in a good location even though the short walk to the beach through the walking path is just next to a super polluted creek, black and stinky. But there is also another option and the creek is far enough from the accommodation to don't affect the air .

I liked nothing about my stay here. I rented the single room with bathroom for 5 USD. I am a backpacker and I don't have high expectations and I settle for low quality but this property.....I even skipped the breakfast. Host asked me if I could leave early so another guest could take over early in the morning!!!!! I am actually stunned by this property having such high rating. I communicated to the host I would be arriving at 2. In reality I arrived 3 hours later and they hadn't even started cleaning it. They changed the linen and I think that's it cos the room was ridiculous dirty. Not only that but there were spiders of various sizes, one enormous of 8 cm diameter, ants, lots mosquitos and little reptails. No wonder, as the room has 9 big holes (not sure its purpose but everything comes right in through it). Bathroom was filthy and many parts broken. I told the host it is not worthy at all to have a room like this in booking. It doesn't do any good to anyone. Avoid renting this room.

Owner constantly trying to sell me tours while I wanted to relax and eat even when I declined. I was repeatability asked for 10 star reviews during my stay and for days after. Breakfast was really not really sufficient, no wifi as mentioned on booking.com.

Property had an excellent location and atmosphere. Good rooms and good value for price. Tasty dinner also. Owner friendly and generally accommodating.
