Sri LankaTV was not working even after few requests to check. It was important for a two days stay during rainy days.
Location, large and clean pools. Bufet meals with a good selection of varieties. However the taste need to improve.

SwedenHotel had been shut down for a long time and now reopening. The internet did not work in the beginning, neither the television. Nor the AC. I had to change room. All rooms should of course be checked before giving them to clients

Sri LankaI've been here before (in 2016, 2017 and 2019) and feel like the standards have dropped quite a bit — not in terms of hospitality and service, which were great — but in terms of facilities and cleanliness. I noticed cobwebs in some corners of the room and bathroom and the bedding smelt a bit musty. Overall, it felt like the place needed an upgrade. I would pin this on the hit that Sri Lanka's tourism industry has had due to the pandemic and the economic crisis. The few issues we faced were almost all resolved by the staff, who were friendly and very helpful. This is a great place to relax and unwind — but not so much if you want to get any work done, partly because the WiFi and mobile connectivity is very poor in the bedroom (we had to keep taking our laptops out to the terrace to work). If you just want to chill out on the beach and read, it's perfect.
The location is great because the hotel itself is on the main road while the rooms face the beach. When you're on the ground floor, you can just walk to the beach in 30 seconds. We visited in July when there weren't a lot of guests so we also had a lot of privacy, both on the beach and when using the pools. The staff were especially lovely and looked into all our requests. It was my friend's birthday and they had even arranged a yummy little complimentary cake. Check in was smooth and when we needed to check out a bit later, the hotel held on to our bags while we stepped out. The views are fantastic — from the lobby/terrace, bedroom and restaurant. The food was alright — I have experienced more variety the last times I visited, but this time there were fewer guests which is probably why the buffet wasn't as diverse as before. When we did order off the menu, the portions were very good. There are a lot of other restaurants and cafes in the area, so there are other options too. However, a lot of places were closed at the time because we visited during the off-season.

United Arab EmiratesI stayed in a sea view triple room. However I wasn’t very pleased with the condition of the room. The sheets weren’t dirty but they had some stubborn stains probably from previous guests. And the towels were old and ripped too. I had higher expectations since it is one of the most famous hotels in Koggala.
The location of the property is perfect as it allows you access to a very lengthy beach area. And the staff was really friendly too especially the receptionist Lakshani. I made several requests and everything was answered promptly. The breakfast was good.

Sri LankaThe building is kinda old and need some effort to keep the place maintained. I think due to the pandemic they haven't put much effort into that. Specially the bathroom, it was clean but the drain clogged up easily. Rooms are a bit darker than what I like. For the price I paid I expected a little bit more.
The hotel is next to the beach so you have uninterrupted access to the beach 24*7. I wanted to switch my rooms at the last moment and the staff was willing to accommodate my request without any issue. The hotel bar is excellent and the food was okay too. I only used the bar menu and I ate out like I would do normally. Very spacious place so you can relax even if it is full house. Morning walks are sensational. The beach is clean and very comfortable to walk for hours. Not for skinny dipping when the tide is high, but highly recommend for a morning walk or a jog.

UkraineSeems like this hotel needs renovation, it is clean but shabby. Safe locker didn't work, hairdryer was missing (but I asked for on reception and they gave it) and there was a mouse in our room that staff couldn't catch until it ran away by itself.
Great, wide beach, clean water, but waves can be too big to swim. Fantastic view from the room, hot water in the shower, and daily cleaning. Breakfast is also good.

IndiaBathrooms. The only ventilation was a window which was opening to corridor and the shower area could have had little more lighting.
The location was good. Not too crowded but with a very good beach and travelling distance to galle and Marissa. The rooms were good and spacious with a ocean view balcony. The breakfast was good with choices. Specially the egg appam.

The breakfast had been good, the location is fine, I have been there many times & this place was a fantastic place, but now there had been ants in the bed sheets , racks full of dust, room phone not working even to call the receptionist, two single beds had been joint and made a double bed covering with a sheet, towels were very old ones. stains in the bed sheets, the celling was broken in some places, bugs in the bed, overall it had been a mess for my daughter and husband for the gift package I gave.
