If I could add one thing it would be a liquor license - the villa is perfect for having sundowner cocktails overlooking the sea!

Indika and the team were fantastic - friendly, welcoming, accommodating. The food was exceptional! Beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. A fantastic place to relax for a few days.

There are many dogs that stay on the property and their barking often woke us in the night. There is also an empty lot next door where they had a very loud event our last night there.

The Villa is lovely - right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. You can see sea turtles swimming just out front! The staff were great and very accommodating for our family. Breakfast on the terrace was really nice. It is a fairly quiet area, but there are several cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

It is quite expensive but we only booked last minute and over Christmas Day so that might be why.

Stunning beachside location. We are not surfers (yet!) but would absolutely perfect for those that are as you have amazing surf right on your doorstep. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable bed. Loved having breakfast on the balcony in the morning right outside the room, felt very luxurious. Staff were very happy and helpful too.

Absolutely everything! The location was amazing, in a quiet area outside Mirissa. The staff were brilliant and looked after us so well. We were half board and the food was delicious, we had beautifully cooked prawns and a whole local fish. I recommend the local specialty curd with treacle. We saw turtles and enjoyed the company of the hotel dogs! We hope to return one soon.

Fabulous accommodation located right on the beach. We had the deluxe room which was large and spacious. Breakfast served on balcony a real treat. Private and quiet. Pool downstairs with ocean views. Close to good bars and food yet still peaceful. Hosts were delightful.

Literally nothing to not like

Villa Oceane is the accommodation that you didnt realise you needed. I really cant put into words how perfect this place is. Theres only 5 rooms, so you get alot of space to yourself to chill, watch the surfers, listen to the waves. It has a relaxed, warm and welcoming vibe. The view is beyond anything you will get anywhere else. And the team are extremely small, so they really do go over and above what is expected. We had a gorgeous breakfast every morning, before taking off on our scooter to explore Mirissa, which is about ten minutes away. That being said, the area of the villa has wonderful little cafes and beachside bar areas to hang out in. I cant wait to go back one day <3

We had the most fabulous stay at Villa Océane in Mirissa, so much we extended our stay! The villa and room were beautiful, so peaceful with the view and sound of the sea. But above all the team was so amazing, so attentive and kind, and we were always welcomed with big smiles! They organised everything for us: a whale watching tour, day out in Galle, transfer to the airport etc. and always made sure had everything we needed. I wished we could have stayed longer, I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to end our travels in Sri Lanka. The delicious breakfast was served on the balcony in front of our room with view of the sea, a real treat! It's also ideally located away from the hustle and bustle, but only a few minutes walk away from nice cafés and the Dr's House and Polhena beach, and a 5min tuk tuk ride to Mirissa beach. You can also watch the turtles poking their heads out for air on the beach in front of the hotel, as well as the surfers, and beautiful sunsets. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

There are a few lizards around and sometimes they might enter your room. My family wasn’t okay with that so we kept doors closed during the night and also turned the AC on through the day at 16degrees!

The hospitality of the staff is impeccable. They were there to answer all questions and also guided us really well about local attractions. The rooms are very well lit and sound of the ocean is very soothing to ears. We generally sleep around 12 and in Villa Oceane we slept every day at 930pm. It’s very cosy and relaxing property!!

Nothing, it was perfect.

We stayed here for a very restful week at the end of our trip. WOW!!! Just amazing, as soon as you walk though the entrance it feels like a peaceful haven. The location is serene, the accommodation, pool & gardens, ocean views are all faultless. It’s worth the short walk to The Drs House, a funky bar/restaurant, but to be honest, we hardly left Oceane Villa the whole week! All the staff were excellent, so genuine and super friendly. The food is probably the best we had in Sri Lanka, the chef is superb. We can’t rate this place enough. Thank you so much Indika, Saman, Churry, our talented chef, the super smiley gardener and Nadoo the owner. You made our stay at Oceane Villa one to remember! (Special mention to Oceane Villa’s 3 cute ‘security’ dogs 😍)

Few details would make it perfect such curtains to block sunlight with multiple layers so that you can decide the amount of light coming into the room.

The view is stunning and it is right in front of the ocean. The photos picture coherently the villa. The staff is very kind and helpful. We have had an maxing dinner with fresh fish on the beautiful terrace. We were lucky enough to get to know the owner who introduced us to the place and made us feel home away from home. Last but not least, SLEEPING WITH OCEAND SOUND WAS SUPER RELAXING.

The property is located by the beach and provides a scenic view of the ocean. The staff at the property are excellent and make sure the stay is extremely comfortable. We had the team with Indica, Samar and Shabruddin ( our in house chef) make the trip extremely comfortable. The rooms are aesthetically done and well maintained.
