We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

There were few people, so we could use all facilities. We especially likes the aromatherapy session in the sauna. Breakfast was good.

United KingdomFacilities are amazing, but you are only allowed to access the leisure facilities between you, check in, and check out times. I would normally aim to arrive early to make use of facilities etc but not here. I found it unusual. I felt the price was a little more than it should be, maybe not offering a total feeling of value for money. At check-in, I paid the hotel tax, and the reception didn't have enough change to give me the correct amount back??? It was €1 but really, a place of this size and stature could do better.
The location, staff, room, all facilities. The breakfast was brilliant. They had mainly local dishes, which was refreshing and very interesting. Lithuania has delicious food!

United KingdomWe paid extra for some treatments we wanted. Could be a little bit cheaper. Was nice to sit in the room balcony, but plastic small chairs could be replaced with more comfortable ones.
We enjoyed our 4 night stay and would like to come back next time for a longer stay. Relaxing atmosphere inside and outside the SPA, a lot of choice of food, friendly staff.

LithuaniaIf the purpose of the stay is simply only rest and relaxation, this place may seem too medical and way too expensive. Of course, this is not a cons for the sanatorium, it just focuses on other guests with other goals. It's great for rehabilitation, but for rest there are plenty of better choices.
It is an excellent place for rehabilitation after trauma or illness. The sanatorium has very professional staff, there is a large selection of various procedures. The sanatorium is in a wonderful location.

United KingdomRestaurant. Breakfast had limiting choice and the food was low quality. More like a posh hospital food than a restaurant. The room price and restaurant food did not match. Dinner was expensive and poorly executed compared to other hotels in the area. They had a lot of potatoe and flour dishes to fill up the space. We also had to share the restaurant with sick people and those who were staying these for free which gave a hospital vibe rather than a romantic weekend away. We paid €240 for the night + for dinner so I was expecting a different food selection and the area to eat.
The pool and SPA is amazing 😍 We loved the lobby area coffee shops, perfect to relax and have a cup of coffee with a yummy cake. The room was big and had a large balcony.

LithuaniaCoffee at breakfast. It was the only thing that I would highly highly suggest changing.
We liked everything: the staff, the room, the fact that there is a kids room although we had no time to use it, but we went to check it out and it is really big and nice. We have used the pool several times and it was great. I love that there are no slides, so it is more calm and quiet there than in other places where there are a lot of people that come from outside just for the entertainment. The Turkish sauna was divine. We liked that there were lots of different size swimming west for our 5 year old to chose from. Oh, and the fact that kids get their own bathrobes! Of course, it starts only from size 116 cm, but still a very nice touch. Breakfast and dinner were also nice, lots of heathy options, vegetables and fruits, there was also an ice cream at dinner time :) Overall - we did like Egle way more than the other super hyped SPA in Birštonas.

Espresso at main (reception) entrance bar. :-) The speed of the staff's reaction to the claim. The broken balcony door was fixed immediately after the claim to the maid. For sure the Birstonas town, just nice.

LithuaniaThe room looked a bit worn (even suite type). Some furniture was slightly rubbed. It would be great if the room was as clean as the common areas. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We thought that it was a bit overpriced for such quality of room. And those artificial plants in the common spaces looked rather strange and cheap.
The location of sanatorium is amazing - park and Nemunas are just few steps away.. The sanatorium has helpful and friendly staff. There was a large selection at breakfast. We also liked impeccable cleanliness of common areas and wide variety of procedures. Our daughter really enjoyed the playroom and its great staff.

LithuaniaMain SPA procedures were cancelled on a day of arrival, with no equivalent alternatives offered. After complaining, main reception offered to cancel stay and just go home (without refund for the accomodation as it was prepaid already). Catering place inside the building wasn’t operating during the working hours with excuse of lacking staff. Bathroom had a very bad smell of urine from the toilet. Cleaning service in a room was limited to taking out garbage bins.
Amber SPA (inside Eglės sanatorija) was a very pleasant experience - friendly staff, cosy environment, professionalism. Also a separate thanks goes to Gydykla receptionist Kristina - for patience, creativeness and attention to client needs.
