Batteries for tv control stop working after an hour of being there. On the day before leaving, the light bulb in the living room started flickering. Therefore, we couldn't use the light.

The location was great, and it was quiet. Very spacious for all of us.

The property was not very clean. Lamps ant oven was dirty. In the shower was mold. I think this property needs cosmetic remont.

The self check-in instructions are insane. Especially when arriving in the dark and not understanding that the door to the apartment block is not the same as where you find the key ... The host was not there, but was impatient and rude on the phone, which is not acceptable. Don't rent out an apartment if you don't want guests. The back yard entry is unpleasant and dark. There is no lift. The inside of the freezer was dirty. The TV and cable instructions are a waste of time, they don't work. The shower cubicle drain is blocked. I can see from other reviews that the last two problems have been reported last year. If the host hadn't been so rude I wouldn't have mentioned any of these things because I don't travel to places to inspect fridges. And don't charge for the coffee capsules, how mean can you be?

Coffee capsules for a fee! (never seen that in a rental place). Place smelled smoke (not very pleasant, esp. for non-smokers).

Breakfast was not provided and the bathroom really needs renovation... Cleanliness could also be improved.

The location is perfect (next to a bus stop direct to the airport and in the heart of the old town) and the flat is big. It is well equipped and the beds are pretty comfortable.

The apartment was not clean enough for the guests : above fridge and on the lights we have found a lot of dust. The apartment is missing cable TV.

The biggest advantage is the place of the apartments near the House of black heads in the old town of Riga.

Before you come, they ask you how many beds ( single or double) you need. But they NEVER CARE what you require!!!! I asked them two single beds but they gave us one double bed instead!!! I came here with my MALE COLLEAGUE!!!!!! This is a complete irresponsibility and he has to sleep on the SOFA!!! We don’t have to sleep on the Sofa if they ask you how many beds and type of beds before you come!!!!!

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable! On the arrival day we received a call about some heating system's problems and were instead offered another apartment very close to this one, so it was no problem at all :) Location was amazing - very close to the main squares, and since we came to Riga for Christmas markets, I think this is a great place to stay at!

Check in was a mess. Booking.com confirmation said owner would meet us on site. Received a message from the owner asking what time we would arrive. Sent a reply advising. We arrived at the appointed time, no one was there. Waited 30 minutes. Nothing. Tried four times to phone the owner. No answer. Sent a message via Booking.com, waited and then phoned again. Finally owner answered. Claimed she had sent arrival info by email but clearly she had not. Miraculously arrived just after I finally got her on the phone. There is no one to meet you on site. It is self check in via a series of complicated codes and lock boxes, so the Booking.com info is wrong. Had we known it was self check in we would have chased it up the day before. The apartment needs a lot of repairs and maintenance. Here are just a few examples: The actual apartment has two front doors. Only one of them was lockable. In the kitchen there is a power point at floor level which is literally hanging out of the wall with exposed wiring. Don’t come here if you have small kids who might stick their fingers in it. There is a double power point up high in the bathroom. It is also faulty. It will support one appliance but not two. The shower didn’t drain. And I don’t mean it drained slowly. It didn’t drain. Internet kept dropping out. We were constantly re-booting it with no improvement. Apartment was cold and the central heating apparently didn’t work. Access is via a stairway from the car park at the back of the building which opens off a lane and is very dark at night. I would not be comfortable coming and going at night alone.

The given directions for where the key is were incomplete with wrong code. The phone number was switched off, so we could not check in upon arrival. In an hour they called and solved the problem.
