Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyTraditional structure right on the edge of Skoura Palmeraie, with beautiful view over the surrounding area. Room was essential but had everything you need, hosts were sweet and kind, breakfast and dinner were very good and abundant. The whole place has a really family-like touch and is very quiet and peaceful. Recommended if you want to catch a break from the typical touristic attractions and the noise of the more crowded places and experience something more real and traditional.

United KingdomIt was so peaceful, with beautiful views from the terraces and easy to walk through the palm trees to the village. The host was kind, responsive and cooked a delicious dinner and breakfast. We stayed here on a road trip out to the desert and it was a very welcome, restful break from travelling.

GreeceExcellent place, beautiful view and very kind personnel. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the house is lovely decorated. There is a terrace with view of the palm forest, where the sunset is amazing. WIFI works good enough and the breakfast is very tasty (their pancakes are very good). We also had dinner, which was very more than enough, at a reasonable price (90 dirhams each).

United KingdomYou have to go on a short off road to get to the accommodation (nothing to worry about, any decent car will manage to make it), and you’ll arrive to this beautiful accommodation. A great spot for sunrises, sunsets and watch the stars, so amazing we didn’t want to leave! Hayat is patient and kind. The food was delicious too! When you leave the property, take the road you came in on, straight back to the main road. If you try and cut through to go to Skoura you’ll end up in a labyrinth of small (but beautiful) roads and rivers (you have to drive through them) and might have a hard time in a car!

- The view from the terrasse is amazing - The host is so nice - The common area is comfy and in the Moroccan style - You feel that you contribute to local people and not a resort/real estate investor... - Direct access to the "palmeraie" and people in the village are so nice (the pottery is a must visit)

United KingdomWow! A lovely, traditional family run accommodation….mum and Abou made us feel a part of their family as they shared their home with us. Just wonderful, a little off the beaten track (arrive when it’s still light), but easy once found the first time. Mum cooked us fabulous food both evenings we were there, and helped us learn a bit about their traditional way of life. Thank you so much, we loved staying with you.

MoroccoThe way to the Auberge is a bit offroad, but madame hayat was still rechable with a normal (rental) car and we were given good information about the road we have to take.
Madame Hayat was very friendly and nice, we were able to have breakfast at the rooftop with a view on the palm trees! Also it was very calm there and very nice to walk through the palmeria.

United KingdomSadly we did not find the food (evening meal or breakfast) to be as good quality as we experienced elsewhere and felt these could be improved. The room was very spacious but with no real hooks or spaces to hang and put things - only one window ledge or the floor. The hot water comes from solar panels some distance away and we were told we needed to run the taps for some time before the hot water arrived. This may be unavoidable, but it leads to a lot of wasted water. The welcome here we felt was was one of the least friendly we experienced during our 10-day trip. The wi-fi was patchy at times.
The location is very nice, overlooking the palmeraie. The room was spacious. It is conveniently located for visiting the Kasbah and palmeraie.

SpainAir conditioning was not enough to warm up the big bedroom in the sharp winter cold, bathroom very basic and very cold, worst of all loud music and noise until midnight in the common room just next to the bedroom. It only stopped when I called by phone the person responsible.
The location was fine, the breakfast and dinner too (although we only got the price 9eur pp of the chicken tajine dinner on arrival)

SpainThe owner tried to charge more than was established by Booking, and when she finally accepted we paid the price of the reservation, she tried to charge for the water of the dinner, that she didn't say nothing about it the day before. Not friendly at all. The dinner is good but nothing special, just a not very big tajjin for two and a soup. Not very good value. Breakfast is nothing special.
The place is well located and is good value for money. The beds are confortable.
