Our recent stay in Morocco was truly a gem of an experience, especially for our two families, each with two little children. From the outset, the house welcomed us with its cozy interiors and tasteful design, providing ample space for both families to relax and enjoy. One of the highlights of our stay was the enchanting garden, a haven of tranquility where the children could play freely amidst the beautiful greenery. It offered a peaceful retreat for the adults as well, where we could unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere. The hospitality we received was exceptional, with the hosts ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were attentive to our needs and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, adding a personal touch that made our stay truly special. Breakfast was a delightful affair, with a variety of delicious options to choose from, including a cake that was an instant hit with the children, and even my husband couldn't resist. It was the perfect start to our days, setting a positive tone for our adventures ahead. The two dinners we had at the house were equally memorable, with mouthwatering dishes that showcased the rich flavors of Moroccan cuisine. In summary, our stay in Morocco was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the comfortable accommodations and serene surroundings to the warm hospitality and delicious food, every aspect of our experience was top-notch. We would highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a memorable getaway in Morocco.

The villa is full of character, spacious and comfortable with a very nice swimming pool and a big garden with animals and fruit trees. Abderrahim and his family are very kind and always available. We felt very welcome in the property. The breakfast and the meal on demand are excellent. The location is close to Marrakech but you really are in country side, with an amazing view on the Atlas.

Our stay was nothing less than amazing. From the moment we've set foot on Au porte de Marrakech, we felt enchanted by both the house and the people taking care of it. We can't recommend this enough. A big thanks for Khadija, Omar, their kids and Fatima. Quick tip: never go out for diner, it's never as good as what Khadija will prepare for you.

Arrival instructions could have been clearer and if you are self driving a meeting point with Fatima is essential to ensure you don’t get turned around by the rather detail less map. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

Everything, the house is sensational, the hosts lovely and the country magnificent. If driving to the location note that the map isn’t accurate and the hosts will come and meet you locally. A holiday that spanned waterfalls to deserts, camel rides to shivering in the high atlas - all with two 3 year olds ! We arranged dinner in the house multiple nights and the food was beautiful. Distance to Marrakesh was perfect, the animals in the grounds kept the kids entertained and the pool was chilly but refreshing

Beautiful modern home in a quiet location close to the city.

Everything about this villa was amazing, the breakfast was exceptional, Khadija made us a delicious meal one night and the family were so accommodating and kind throughout. The pool is much bigger than it looks (a great size to even play some ball games and have a little swim). The decor of the home is beautiful - with elaborate carved doors and tiled bathrooms, there is plenty of space for people to get some time alone if needed, with two large seating rooms and two patios to quietly read or hang by the pool. We rented cars and driving around the area / into the centre was straight forward and an ideal location to explore mountains, desert and the city. The land is also beautiful, with pomegranate and grapefruit trees as well as lizards, frogs, chickens and sheep. Absolutely will be back! We had the most wonderful holiday, thank you.

    nothing!

Absolutely everything! the property, the garden, the animals, the house is a gem amazingly designed. a perfect balance of local crafts and old furniture. it’s very big yet has an intimate feel. all comfort available. hot water, lamps everywhere, fully equipped kitchen, many areas outdoor to rest, have a meal… it’s a real getaway, a dreamy home, we’d come back to and have advised friends and family to try as well. just a 30min from frenetic Marrakech yet it feels miles away 🙂 the Moroccan family who takes care of the facilities, prepares the breakfast etc is genuinely kind hearted, very helpful, down to earth and is a real help to make the stay a perfect time. and the option to have a local dinner prepared is a perfect addition!

Nothing really, if we had to say anything, Wi-Fi is pretty poor this is due to the villa location, as you are in a little village. 4g mobile date isn't the best either.

See pics they will tell you everything. This villa is beautiful, it has a proper Moroccan Boutique kind of feel. The drive through to Villa from front gate is amazing at night lit up like a run way for royals :) The villa is very spacious and kitted out with everything possible. Its very peaceful and secure. You have goats, lamb, chicken roaming the garden along with rabbits to see. Lots of various fruits and veg growing. Omar and Khadija along with their kids Younis and Abdul Rahman are on hand anytime of the day or night. Cannot thank them enough for their hospitality, the breakfast is amazing freshly cooked. If you get a chance ask Khadija to cook an evening meal or two for you you will not be disappointed proper home cooked Moroccan food. TY Matisse for recommending this. Matisse/wife who run the villa is on hand via phone/WhatsApp anytime you need and I cannot say thankyou enough to you guys. Even with our little flight emergency and need to stay an extra night you sorted it no issue. TY The pool looks small in the pics but its actually a great size and is naturally fed with fresh water from the well. Its a lovely experience. The drive to Marrakesh city is simple and a straight road, 20 mins no probs. We didn't have hire cars initially once we arrived we realised they were a must, we then arranged for cars via Marrakesh Airport, car is a must unless you plan on using taxis. Thank you very much and next time we are in Marrakesh we will be staying here again.
