How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The rooms are fairly basic and sheets not all big enough for the beds, but on request Hakim happily provided extra sheets and towels. Parking is only available a few minutes walk away, but not a major problem.
Great location right in the centre of the main ‘tourist’ area with easy walking to the waterfalls and many places to eat. Hakim was very friendly and really tried his best to help us with everything and anything! Lovely garden.

It was tricky to find in a car.
Lovely hotel which was both traditional and comfortable. The garden was lovely and we enjoyed having breakfast there, and hearing the sounds of the souk waking up beyond the gates.

Negatives, the room itself needs some work but was fine for the price.
The common areas/ location/ staff/ breakfast were amazing. Such incredibly warm, welcoming sweet staff . The location was perfect right in the middle of the town at entrance to waterfalls. Very cool spot. Said was especially lovely as was his co-worker on the font desk (forgot his name sorry)

Built for summer heat not winter cold so wrap up warm at night. Plug sockets in communal area only.

There could be some veggies with the breakfast, but for this price we can't complain :)
Very convenient location, 2 minutes away from the falls. We had a comfy room with a nice bathroom. Water in the shower was always hot, which was a welcome change. But the best part is the host! Hassan took care of us like a true friend!

The room was little and AC did not work.
The location is just in front of the stairs that leads to the waterfalls. Parking was 2 min walking distance away. The garden is really lovely.

Hasan was amazing! Did great tea, made us feel comfortable with warm talks. Also helped us to find monkeys and told us how to fed them properly. Thank you.

Everything was fine :)
Alrighty I've never written a review before but today this changes ;) The location of this place is perfect to go to the waterfall. The place itself is cozy and beautiful! We stayed for only a day over there and felt home. Thanks to our host, Hassane; who is a great guy, very helpful, friendly, open for conversations and makes awesome tea! If you have any questions or need anything just ask him. Definitely try the breakfast! It was great! Ohh and he is very flexible for preparing things according to your time schedule. Thanks for everything 💫

Facilities can be improved. However cant complain much because for the price it was ok.
Location, Traditional lobby. And we liked Hassan, his friendliness and his suggestions about some other attractions. A lovely breakfast experience in the garden.

Room was basic and only had one electricity point. Shower could not be hung up and toilet was a bit noisy. Wifi in the room did not work. One of the hosts (?) interfered a bit too much and was a bit too pushy.
Perfect location really close to the waterfalls, beatiful garden and the host/cook was super friendly and hospitable. We made use of the laundry service, which was great.

The room didn’t have an airco so we slept with the windows open, which wasn’t ideal considering the noise outside
The staff was amazing and they made the most delicious tea! The hotel is right next to the entrance to the waterfalls and it has a very pretty and calm garden to relax in. Breakfast was great too!

The friendly (in the evening) staff disappeared in the morning = nobody at the reception, all doors closed = they left me without (the prepaid) breakfast
