The first room was a disaster, totally not clean, I found hair on the bed and even the walls were very dirty. I asked the staff (a very nice guy called Mohammad from the night shift) and he helped me to change to a much better room. Also the hotel has a very old card machine that doesn’t support cardless/wireless paying. This actually have caused me some issues with the payment as I was short on cash and I only had the Virtual visa card. (Thankfully I was able to survive)

This hotel was not highly rated. So, we didn't expect much. our main reason for booking this hotel was the location. it is right beside the FES train station and very convenient. it is a very dated property with a beautiful garden. our room was overlooking the garden.

We went to the front desk to ask for 2 pool towel, he said 1, I only have 1. The nice security guard came from the back and said he'd find us another towel. Ask for a room facing the pool. The other side of the hotel faces a very busy street.

The pool area is nice. You'd never know you in a very busy part of the city. If you're catching a train, it's right next to the train station.

The staff is not welcoming. The room size is small. There was no bottle water and coffee/tea in the room. The room was rather too basic

The property is a little worn down. if we stay longer, we probably would’ve chosen somewhere else. 

The property was close to the train station as we did not arrive until 10pm(by train).Only stayed here overnight so we could catch a bus the next day to chefchaouen.Grounds were neat and tidy and swimming pool was what we needed.

Tv doesnt have much channels, some works only at night. No bidet in the toilet. No drinking water. You need to go out and look for a shop to buy water. The nearest one is inside the train station, its more expensive than in a. Normal shop but that was the only option. Breakfast is amazing, but the also dont put water with the drinks options.

It was our first time to Morocco, The continental spread for breakfast was good, but all carbs, and only boiled eggs, we were not told that we could request to get fried/scrambed eggs or omlette for breakfast, until our last breakfast where we saw another table who had fried eggs. Really annoyed we werent informed we could request this.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ibis, they have a nice large pool to enjoy some swimming after a long day of walking around Fes. The room was clean, bright and just what we needed. Reception staff were friendly and nice. Ibis is situated right near the train station which is convenient if you are travelling further by train, there also is a taxi stand right outside the hotel and also free parking if you were to rent a car. It was all so convenient for us!
