Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumNot easy to find but fortunately the hotel itself is pretty recognizable from a distance. Dinner and breakfast isn't bad but it is no match for other places we visited. Dark bathroom. Lots of noise at night from the screens on our terrace due to the wind because the screens were no longer in the rails (they could use some repairs).
Lovely staff, we were almost alone in the hotel. Nice swimming pool (most places only have very small swimming pools).

NetherlandsThe hotel can use some repairs. There were some things broken in the room, that did not seem real hard to fix (crane for example). The swimmingpool was really cold. The beds were really hard, but maybe thats us since a lot of hotels in marocco have really hard beds.
The environment was really unique. An amazing building, with even better view. The staff was great, they really do their best to make you feel welcome.

United KingdomThe lightings in the room. The lighting’s quite dim which is great for relaxing and late evenings however it would be good to have the option for brighter light setting if needs be.
An oasis in the middle of Atlas mountain. Beautiful historic building to stay at. They have the most welcoming and generous staffs and management with high hospitality standards. Their restaurant offers seriously good authentic food. Once back from your day of adventures you can watch the the stars in desert on the rooftop or from the jacuzzi. This is a perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Ait-Ben-Haddou or at the Quarzarzate region.

Place and views are very scenic, multi-level-organised space impresses.

Saudi ArabiaA very unique place well worth a visit. The Kasbah is very interesting and it's beautifully situated with gorgeous surroundings. There are many places to walk directly from the Kasbah: along the river, up in the mountains or to small nearby villages. And with a short drive you can reach Aït Benhaddou with small shops and activities like horse riding. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast and dinner served in the restaurant. Nice pool and the roof top jacuzzi has an amazing view.

United StatesMy friend and I absolutely loved our girls trip to Kasbah Titrit. We were welcomed with incredible hospitality by the kind staff. The location in front of the oasis was so serene, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the spa and surrounding nature. The staff was so attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed. The room was gorgeous, clean, and beautifully designed. We can’t wait to come back and stay for longer!

SpainWe actually liked everything. Everything was beautiful and it was a great and unique experience.
Fantastic place. A medieval Morrocan castle type house beautifully restored and decorated. It is a showcase of old Morrocan building techniques and decorative arts with a nice twist of the modern and modern comfort. Great spa, massage service and cuisine, as well as overseeing a beautiful green meander of the valley's river. Last but not least everyone was very attentive, kind and professional.

PortugalThis is to avoid at all costs! I would have left if I hadn’t been exhausted after a 7 hour drive. Just to name a few: - parts of the ceiling fell in our room when we were there - filthy and dusty to the point of making me consider leaving - pool bottom left your feet black - torn filthy curtains in the room - lobby and rooms smelled of rotten cabbage - creepy building straight out of a horror movie - dead plants -no amenities, dirty towels, dirty bed sheets - “spa” is disgusting and expensive (didn’t use, of course) - EVERYTHING needs urgent repair! - … and unbelievably expensive!
Absolutely nothing except that the staff was courteous and breakfast was okay. The view might have been nice if the windows weren’t broken and filthy so we couldn’t see out of them.

Absolutely beautiful property. Fabulously conceived and decorated. Staff brilliant, food exceptional. Superb facilities, indoor pool, spa, hammam, hot tub and plentiful terrace space. Rooms were immaculate. Superb value for money and in my opinion much closer to 5 stars then 3. One of the best properties I have stayed at in Morocco. Could have stayed much longer.

United Kingdomthe price was too high for what it was. it was too far from other hotels to be able to have alternative options for dinner and I would have preferred to be able to easily walk to the ksar. the dinner was 20 euros per person which was too high for what it was. the starter was good but the main course was very plain and the salad looked as though it was left over from other plates on a different meal. the facilities were dated and the pool was cold. the sauna we paid 10 euros for and it was not sauna temperature- this is rectifiable though I’m sure if you tell staff enough in advance so they know to warm it before. the water from one of the taps was very rusty tasting.
the hotel is interestingly laid out and has lots of places to sit and reflect. the surrounding area is silent and the adhan can be heard clearly. the staff were attentive but not over bearing and the breakfast was very good.

United KingdomThe Kasbah is breathtaking and is located in a small village 8-10 min away by car from Aït Ben Haddou. This location is ideal if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of tourist places and want to have a few relaxing days in a very local environment. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious and equipped with a Roman-looking bathtub. The big terrace overlooked a small oasis. The interiors were nicely decorated and there was a pleasant smell of incense. Nice pool and indoors jacuzzi. Wi-Fi worked well. You have the option to have dinner there, which I would suggest as there aren’t local restaurants around unless you use a car or call a taxi (which isn’t easy to do on the street but can be done at reception). The food was delicious and portions were good. I am astonished at the excellent level of service and care the staff had throughout our stay. They made our stay perfect, and even organised a small birthday dinner. They helped us in so many ways that it’s hard to be thankful enough. I would stay there again. Highly suggested!

United KingdomA little updating was required but it was all minimal - better soap, flickering lights in the bedroom when they were all switched on. Otherwise, everything was perfect!
My husband and I were on a 3 week holiday in Morocco and we stayed at Kasbah Titrit for 3 nights. This hotel was very different from anywhere else we have stayed. It looked and felt like a castle! While It was built in a traditional Moroccan style the inside was very elegant and decorated to a high standard. Our accommodation consisted of a bedroom, lounge and 2 bathrooms. They were spacious and spotless and the views from our room were spectacular! It was very peaceful staying here and made a change from the other busy places we visited. We ate breakfast every morning and dinner on two evenings. The food was plentiful and very good quality. In fact, they were very generous and we couldn't eat it all. One of the best things about Kasbah Titrit was the staff. Every time we went past reception or ate in the dining room we were welcomed with smiles from the two main staff Yassine and Yassine! They were always very friendly, happy and willing to help in any way we needed. They were the best and most genuine staff we met in any hotel during our 3 week holiday. I imagine, like many other places, Kasbah Titrit was affected by the pandemic as it wasn't very busy when we were there and I hope things improve as our stay there was wonderful and we would love to stay there again!

SingaporeUnfortunately thanks to previous reviews we have had a huge mismatch of expectation against reality and for the benefit of those that may follow would like to clarify a few things. We stayed in duplex 9, which is a duplex but rather than two discrete bedrooms and a lounge, the lounge downstairs can be converted into a twin room so no problem sleeping 4 people but with no lounge. The amazingly lit bathroom in the pictures without the candles looks very different. In addition, despite multiple networks in the property there is no internet access upstairs in the duplex. There is no private terrace or balcony, the large terrace you see in the pictures is the rooftop between the duplexes and during our two night stay this was occupied by a large group who appeared to be friends of the management and were as noisy as you would expect a large group to be. You do have a small area immediately outside your door which is separated from the main area by an iron trellis but only notionally, there is no actual separation from the main area and the noise. Having read some of the previous reviews of the restaurant I can only conclude that the kitchen staff have changed significantly, we had the blandest meal of our lives with a piece of boiled beef that was literally inedible. There are amazing pictures of the small pool overlooking the mountains but this appeared to be closed during our stay and is also now surrounded with green plastic mesh and really doesn’t have the feel exuded in the pictures. If we had been staying somewhere like many in Morocco for fifty dollars a night we would probably just have shrugged and moved on but this is by far and away the most expensive place we have stayed in two months in the country at five times that and it really doesn’t deliver on the quality we would expect for that price in Europe let alone Morocco. We were bitterly disappointed because we really were looking forward to staying here.
To begin with, the building is extraordinary, a great example of kasbah architecture and the staff are charming but the photographs really need to be replaced with ones that show the current condition of the hotel which is showing it's age and the price needs to be adjusted to reflect its current reality.
