Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PortugalLovely Riad, excellent to get a feel of the true Marroc spirit. Rooms are not brilliant but they do it just fine. The location is also good you are 5mins away from the main souks and main square ( if it's not crowded). The host , Ahmed is a legend, ultra nice guy who receive us with a lovely mint tea and some pastries, and also told us a few must visit places and also some tricks to deal with some less friendly maroc guys around the turist area.

It was a clean and comfortable place at the heart of the Medina. We could walk to a lot of places. Breakfast was very good.

FranceSome things could be updated a bit - the bathroom and the locks on the doors. The breakfast was a bit skimpy, not the best we've had.
Comfortable and good location (just outside the touristy part of the Medina, but close to most things), nice decorations.

United KingdomThe WiFi worked really well in reception, but didn't always reach the top floor in our room. Something to bear in mind if you do require a good connection. Breakfast is advertised from 8am, but on a couple of days we went down before 8:30 and there was no one around, so maybe let the staff know in advance if you have an early start. This is more of a courtesy to other guests, using the sun terrace between midnight - 2am, the metal stairs echo very loud into the room below, so please be considerate when moving around the Riad late at night. This was only an issue on one night, not a major problem if guests are mindful of others.
Nice little Riad in a good location, 10 - 20 minute walk from most attractions in the Medina. But still quiet. Breakfast was a nice selection of Morrocan pastries/pancakes/bread, with juice & tea or coffee. The sun terrace was nice to relax on in the afternoon & see the sunset. The room was comfortable, a good size with private bathroom. (English speakers, be aware the hot tap on the shower, is the one with the letter "C".) The staff, especially Amal, were all really helpful in helping book activities and transport to/from the airport. My partner booked a Quad Bike experience to the desert & he loved it, highly recommend this tour. It also included a stop at an Argan Oil factory & local village.

PortugalThe location of the riad is in a tight street. At first, you think thats a bit "dangerous", but then you realize is just fine and no problem at all.
The riad is very cool. There is a lobby with a pool and tables and sofas to eat that is very nice. Upstairs theres places where you can chill and sunbath. The room is very clean, big bed, and the bathroom is big enough. You can feel very culture integrated. The best thing was the staff. Very cool, very helpful, with tips about what to do or not, and places to vist. Big props to the guy that attended us, I forgot is name, but he was very cool and kind. Thank you very much

There’s sun loungers on the terrace that could be used anytime of the day and your room has a built in air conditioning. The Riad isn’t too far from the centre of the Medina, which connects you easily to other parts of Marrakesh. The staff are great! JapanThe little cute swimming pool saved our lives! We stayed on the hottest days in Marrakesh and we were able to cool down in the pool when the temperatures were extremely high. There was even a rooftop with beach chairs and parasols. The staffs were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good too. It’s located near many shops in the medina and going on sightseeing and tours was very accessible. Highly recommended!
