Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesMy stay at Riad Sidi Fatah in Rabat was truly exceptional, and I am compelled to share my experience, especially highlighting the incredible kindness and service of Loubna and the nightshift staff (I didn't get his name but he works nightshift). From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Loubna and her team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. What truly touched my heart was an incident involving an injured kitten that seemed to be about one month old. The poor kitten had fallen from the roof, and both Loubna and the nightshift staff offered assistance when we discovered the kitten and asked for help. They searched for a nearby vet and took great care in feeding and nurturing the tiny kitten. Witnessing their compassion and concern for the helpless animal was a testament to their wonderful character. You can truly tell a lot about a person by how they treat animals, and their actions speak volumes. The riad itself is beautiful. Our room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast each morning was delightful. The location of Riad is perfect for exploring Rabat, situated in a quiet street in the medina. We felt safe and comfortable walking around, even late at night. Overall, our stay was unforgettable. I highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Rabat. The exceptional service, coupled with the genuine kindness of Loubna made my stay truly special. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

Location is amazing, right inside the market so you can shop to your heart's content. Also walking distance to most of the major monuments like the Oudayas and Hassan tower. There is a public underground car park right outside the old city walls which is a 10 min walk on the flat through the market to get to the riad. The building is gorgeous, rooms were beautifully decorated and the staff were fantastic. It was such a lovely place to come back to every day!

CanadaThere was nothing not to like!
We absolutely loved our stay at Sidi Fatah and very highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rabat. It is just a short walk from the city gates, which makes it a perfect location for exploring the whole medina. What makes this beautiful riad truly special is the most welcoming and friendly staff :) They made a lovely breakfast for us with seasonal fruit and delicious freshly made Moroccan bread and carried it all up on the roof terrace just so we can enjoy the perfect view while sipping our morning coffee. We can't wait to stay at Sidi Fatah again :)

CanadaBeautiful riad. Looks like the photos. Very clean. Smells nice. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was large and tasty. We came to Morocco for our honeymoon and let the property know. They were so lovely in making the room special for us with rose petals, candles and balloons. I also mentioned that I was vegetarian and they made a point to bring out an additional salad for the breakfast. They also helped us organize private transportation to Casablanca.

This riad is a beautiful place! The riad is located in the heart of the medina. It's not a typical hotel, but it provides a sense of authenticity, a feeling of Moroccan culture. Staff is absolutely amazing and kind. You dont feel like in a hotel, rather like in a friend's house.

United KingdomBeautifully restored Riad in the heart of the medina, though just a short walk from Avenue Mohammed V. It has a pretty courtyard plus two roof-top terraces and the bed was very comfortable. The hospitality from the staff was wonderful - Lubna and the team were welcoming and helpful and we felt very much at home.

CanadaNothing! We loved it
The room was so beautiful with a opulent ceiling and traditional morrocan decor. Water was hot and the heating in the room worked well. This is a small family run place so it’s homey rather than fancy but the family was so lovely and kind to us. They made us a great breakfast and were always present if we had questions. They even made us tea late at night before bed!
