There was no soap provided in the bathrooms. And you only realise this once you've used it. İlyas at reception told me it was the hostel policy not to provide one for no apparent reason. They do provide towels so it's definitely not about saving the environment :) I'd a double room. There's a small window high up on one of the walls. So no room with a view

It's located centrally but in the back alleys so.one has to find their way to the hostel.

Slight smell in the room , I think it was coming from a drain somewhere. Nothing the hotel can do about this part , you cannot get a taxi there so have to walk about 5 minutes from the main road , you will be stopped by people asking to help you or for money. As I say, not the Hotels fault , it happened all night , some guys quite aggressive about it.

The location is very central in the old district , nice restaurants in the area and many shops. Hotel staff friendly enough . Very authentic old Moroccan building with character.

There was no mount for the shower head, but that's very picky.

Lack of heating made our room a bit cold. WiFi didn't work inside the room, and outside it was quite weak. Unfortunately breakfast was really bad, they served very old and frozen stuff.

Nice hostel in the Medina, simple and clean. We were in the private room and it was nice, with a good private bathroom with hot water.

There is no elevator. It is quite tedious if you have heavy luggage. However, the owner help us to bring up our luggage. The toilet quite smelly, need to always close the door. The hot water not too convenient. Sometime it will become too hot, and sometime too cold. You need to quickly take a bath at the right time when the water just nice. (All in all, suggestion to stay here during short time duration only. If more than 1 day, might need to change to other better place, if money not a problem to u coz its price actually worth with what u pay)

The location really strategic, nearby port and Tanger Medina. The owner really friendly. The price worth it.

Breakfast wasn’t satisfying, our room’s bathroom door wasn’t closing, I asked them at the front desk to fix it, but they never did.

I liked the aesthetic of the hostel, and the view at night from the top of the hostel.

What didn't I like? - The receptionist / owner told me that I have to pay more because I booked via Booking.com (and they take commission) and he offered a bed to another guest with lower price than me in same mixed room, in front of me. - Pillow was full of dirt and fungus (check attached photo) - The only toilet was inside room - Internet connectivity on my bed was not good

Only one toilet/shower for the 8 bed dormitory.

Perfect location inside the old medina, 2 minutes from Petit Socco. Amazing view from the rooftop terrace. Each dormitory bed has a socket and a reading lamp. Breakfast included.

A house with loads of potential but noisy doors and beds that wake you up every time someone moves. Wifi goes on and off. Room is a bit small for 8 people. Bathrooms need an upgrade.
