The hotel is very unusual with its multiple levels and an excellent location with the view over a fortress and the old town. It looks more impressive in real life than on pictures. I noticed that many guests do a photo session as the first thing after their arrival. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within 100 m walk from the hotel on the main pedestrian street that goes through the old town (these restaurants serve alcohol).

Wow, what a place. Probably the best hotel I have stayed in. The layout is exciting and like a small village in itself, the rooms are decorated with great taste and true authenticity of the area and the view to the old fortress and mountains is enchanting. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were super helpful and polite. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the terrace, had a great breakfast and also enjoyed the pools and spa. The town is small and easy to explore from the hotel. I’d recommend wandering around the old fortress.

I have not stayed in 5-star accommodation much (maybe only once before) so perhaps I’m easily satisfied. Nevertheless I was impressed beyond description by Stara Čaršija and everything about it, from its location to the big basket of fruit in the room upon my arrival and to the huge options available with the buffet breakfast. The hotel was really good value considering the standard of it, and my only regret is that I didn’t make use of the swimming pool.

We were slightly out of season so unfortunate that the outdoor pool was closed but this did mean that the hotel was fairly quiet!

Lovely rustic look & feel to the hotel & restaurant. Great views over Stari Bar & easy access onto the bars & restaurants on the street below. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast & food prices were reasonable in the restaurant

Literally everything was perfectly fine. The WiFi coverage in room 20x could be slightly better, but it did the job, and never caused any inconvenience.

Staff very mindful and professional. The wellness area is superb compared to other 5 star accomodations.

This hotel was our favorite stay out of 5 weeks exploring Europe. It was our "splurge" for a 2-night stay, but based on the prices, really was an exceptional deal for the gorgeous room, inlcuded breakfast, and use of the spa facilities. Our teenage son used the pullout couch in the living room suite, and they came to do a turndown service for both the master bedroom and the pullout bed. Spa facilities were so relaxing, and the food at the hotel restaurant was one of the best meals we had in the entire 5 weeks. Plus, just a few steps down the hill to the shops and restaurants and ruins of Stari Bar.

Amazing rooms, great customer service from all staff. While there I took advantage of the many amenities—I ate the continental breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, both excellent, and paid for a facial at their spa. Hotel toiletries are exceedingly impressive, and they use beautifully scented products.

The second night the restaurant had a big group coming to dinner. Service was noticably less.

The hotel and restaurant are built like a little village covering different levels. It overlooks the old town of Bar, even from the outside pool. The restaurant is very good and if you have the right staff, you're visit will be a great one. The spa was very nice for a short stay (Finnish Sauna, Steamroom, relax room and indoor pool). The treatments are not the cheapest, but the experience is amazing!
