There were a few random issues: including and most importantly that the TV switched itself on at random times including in the middle of the night, which woke me up.

The staff at the hotel were amazing - all of them were really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, the spa was lovely, the food was delicious and great location.

The Hotel is just in the middle of Skopje Square. Bright, comfortable rooms. Good sized bed. Very spacious bathroom and shower with all the necessary things.Very good choice of breakfast. They even prepared a small cake for us as it was our anniversary and my husband’s birthday.

Toilet was not part of the bathroom. Bathrooms drain did not work very well and was flooding the bathroom floor and the room carpet. There were some stains on the carpet and the curtains, but nothing major. The TV is kind of a smart TV with Marriots branded system, but it was sluggish and kept restarting itself.

Top notch location. Great choice of facilities. The hotel room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. We got a high floor room but it was an adjoined room. Staff was great and very helpful.

This is a very good hotel but there were small maintenance issues, which we reported. These included broken hinges on cupboards and the telephone system delivering early morning calls which we didn't ask for. None of these defects affected our enjoyment of the hotel. For one meal the side dishes were cold. When reported we were offered replacement dishes. Since there were so many good and cheaper restaurants within easy walking distance we chose to eat out.

Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and clean with good facilities. We stayed for one week. The staff were friendly, efficient, competent and well-trained. At breakfast there was a wide range of foods to suite most tastes and egg dishes could be cooked to order. We used the travel desk to arrange car trips to neighbouring countries and was impressed with the standard of car and driver provided. Located in the heart of this interesting city there were plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Many of the sights of Skopje were within easy walking distance.

If I have to mention something. The toilet light automatically switches on when you enter. Not so convenient when it’s late at night. The light wakes you up.

I was welcomed by friendly staff. The building is beautiful and perfectly located in the city center. Many food and coffee places around and just a short walk from old bazaar. I loved the gym and spa a and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

I asked for early check in but even at 3pm one of the room was not ready. Hotel in below response claims that second room was ready prior to 3pm is totally incorrect. It is not good to note that Hotel records are incorrectly filled instead of improving the service. Hotel should check telephone record that I made a call from my room after 3pm (around 3:15pm) complaining that the second room was still not ready.

The large bed-armchair in the top class room is not comfortable. More than providing for a third bed I would appreciate two comfortable armchairs. The air-co is noisy

You can travel without worries and find the Marriott standards to which you are used all around the world in Skopje too. The staff is friendly and very professional. The property is well-built, new and clean. The rooms are large, amenities are provided. I had a massage, Marin is a young but great masseur - I can only recommend.

The Marriott hotel in Skopje was truly an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and we were upgraded to a room with a breathtaking view of the city as an extra bonus for our honeymoon. The room was beautifully decorated with flowers and hearts, and the delicious chocolate cake was the perfect ending to the day. We truly enjoyed every moment at this impressive hotel.
