It was a dream mini vacation, a wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend, it is truly paradise. Very friendly and polite staff, very tasty food, wonderful view of the sea. Everything is well organized!

Big dissapointment that the hotel looks like eco-friendly, but it isn't in real

We have visited more resorts in Maldives and we were satisfied with this one. The stay in Beach vila has its charm, but to live above the water in Lagoon vila is amazing (94). The food in bars and restaurants is high good-quality and very tasty. The best was the beauty of nature around as well as the experiences in spa center, turtle rescue center and diving center. Was our first time to dive and I had had fear before, but I was very surprised how easily it was going. We were in really good hands. Thanks to our instructor Othmane I felt very safely and I could enjoy the diving in calm for 100% even without previous experiences. And I think this is the most important, to have an instructor like he is, who really care about the physical and mental well-being of his team in very sincere and professional way. Generally, there is not much to do on the isolated island like this one, but the offered program is quite wide, and all the services and experiences are in very high quality.

This is nothing to do with the hotel, however we were a little disappointed with the TMA (company that provides seaplane transfers). We had to wait for 2 hours when we arrived (when guidance states max 1 hour), they left one of our suitcases behind to be delivered later in the day, and on the way back our seaplane was scheduled 6 hours prior to departure from Male, although the seaplane then was delayed by an hour, so we wasted time at the reception. Again, nothing to do with the hotel, as they rely on TMA as a third party, but something to be aware of and not let it ruin your holiday

The hotel on paper seems quite big with c. 100 rooms, and it was fully booked when we were there, however you never felt it being fully booked, which gives you a great sense of exclusivity on the island. Spacious rooms, beautiful location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who will do their best to accommodate any request. Food was great, with good variety, without being wasteful. Awesome dive team on site and there is a house reef where you can snorkel, if you want to see some marine life without diving. They also have a lovely spa with an outside jacuzzi, which is free of charge, tennis courts, and a great variety of water sports (non-motorized was included in the all-inclusive package). Overall, great place to experience the Maldives.

The only thing I did not like were sand bags around the island.

All employees were very friendly, polite, helpful. Island is very beautiful and clean. It is perfect for snorekling and diving. You can see a lot of different species around - fishes, turtles, birds, crabs... Food is very very delicious - a lot of variety is available.

- our departure flight was scheduled at 8.30pm but we had to take the seaplane pretty early anyway (4pm Hotel Time / 3pm Male Time), and we had to wait for the departure flight for more than 4 hours at the airport

- deluxe villa with an amazing view of the ocean and a direct access to snorkeling area (we saw some sharks & dolphins, as well as plenty of fishs) - friendly staff - good food, nice bar(s) to chill out - eco-friendly hotel, clean beach

The drinks and cocktails at the bar were maybe a bit too strong for our liking The wine in the all-inclusive could be better Excursions are only offered for certain days per week, and sometimes they get canceled as they rely on sea and weather conditions (which is understandable). However, if you are there for just a week as we did you miss out on the opportunity of joining the excursion, while if it was offered more than once or twice per week, we could have enjoyed unique experiences like the manta ray viewing.

This is the hotel for people in search of luxury while maintaining the environment and the ecosystem of this wonderful Maldivian island. What makes Coco Palm different from the other resorts in the area is its commitment to preserving nature while offering top-notch service. In addition, they have conservational programs to restore corals and a rescue center for turtles. On top of it, food, views, marine life, and service could not be any better. We had the all-inclusive package and it was very easy to know what was and what wasn't included. We would recommend that you book all-inclusive since there is no other option for dining or drinking on the island and everything is delicious!

- Though there were many excursion options, ~70% of sea ones were canceled because of bad weather. Of course it is not about hotel, but about weather. But still it seemed like staff was too cautious about it - I do not believe that in some cases weather was too bad for them.

- Very friendly staff, always ready to help - Amazing snorkeling. However, one might not be lucky and get apartments with rocks because of shallow water. But this is not really a problem because one may go ~5 minutes to snorkeling area - Food was delicious and every day there were new specialties and courses - Spa was also quite nice but small (no saunas, pools etc. - only Massage and relax zone) - There are indeed various activities, so you will not be disappointed with absence of activities - Room was spacious, clean and nice, but be ready to see some lizards, geckos in the evening and at night (they „socialize“ this way) and even roaches. It is ok - you are in wild nature :)

It is let down by complete lack of management. The excursion team is non existent and trips will be cancelled for no apparent reason (not happy about waking up at 06:30am for a dolphin trip 3 mornings of the honeymoon only to find out it was cancelled the night before). Also be aware of any “extras” you pay for, our beach bbq was not charged at the discounted rate we were promised and the Thai restaurant is the same quality food as the buffet at high prices. The dessert you receive on any of these are the same as the buffet anyway!

We loved almost everything about our stay. The food was fantastic and the staff were so lovely and friendly and always wanted to help. The housekeeping team were brilliant.

the room service did not replenish our teas/coffees and soft drinks until specifically asked to, communication regarding a special trip request (before our arrival) was very poor, a range of drinks could have been a little wider.

Food was very good, beach was clean, the room was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed, we received a bottle of cava and a chocolate cake for our anniversary, which was very thoughtful; reef was nearby and snorkeling was top notch

Everything was literally perfect! The staff was incredible and so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, I definitely recommend the all inclusive package. I couldn’t imagine anything going better than it did and will definitely be returning! It looks EXACTLY like the online photos I was blown away by the beauty of the entire island

Doesn't matter how many stars hotel has, Maldivian clearing services are terrible. Many spots in the house that didn't see a broom for years. There is no playground for kids. (What is the reason of existence of damaged, awful tennis court, which doesn't open??) At the sushi restaurant rolls were served with fake crab meat. Other food at sushi restaurant was tasty.

Perfect place to stay with kids. Island is filled-in with kids. But, unfortunately there is no playground for kids. Food is perfect, fresh fish, beef, pork and etc. Different pastas and salads. Lots of fruits. During 2 weeks were no stomach issues at all. Almost no reef, but perfect diving center has trained professionals to teach you diving and find out different sea creatures. Our kid very liked to feed sharks in the evening. Many sharks small and big are living near the island. This is great. Island is small, but the beach are long and clean everyday.

Having bought all inclusive package and being in such a lovely romantic private villa we would expect wine in mini bar. But in reality it can be arranged only by paying delivery service fee. We were lacking sparkling wine - you can’t get it as AI pack even in the bars. Very little collection of sea food - no prawns, octopus, calamari etc. Internet is very slow.

Ocean, privacy, food, underwater life, personnel, villa, private pool, being on bare feet all the days, transfer, diving instructor, romantic and exotic atmosphere, fishing trip, no poisoned or other disgusting creatures.

There could have been more vegetarian options in the mains, but the chef did his best to give us more food. The timing limitations in the bar could be adjusted to be a bit more often and no just two hours.

The staff were fabulous. The villa was comfortable and nicely located.
