We had the best time ever during our stay. The resort and beach are most picturesque place ever. Staff are super friendly and restaurants have romantic vibe, perfect place for honeymoon or spending time with your loved ones. Food and drinks were excellent.

Beautiful island, lush vegetation, nice beach without sand bags (just like in the picture you see on the hotel website). Friendly staff all over the island. I would like to mention our thakuru (Abdo - he was very efficient and helpful) and Kitty from dive centre. We tried all restaurants and food was very tasty and fresh.

I just loved everything

The place is just amazing and the people that work there are really nice and friendly. The food is great and there are a lot of good wines already including in the all inclusive package (what I do recommend) The water villas are really close to reefs and you can see a variety of fishs just a few meters from your room. Besides that, they are really clean and confortable. I also recommend some paid tours they offer because you can go to desert islands and enjoy a little bit more maldives. The sea over there is gorgeous. Another great point is that they assign a person to take care of you during your stay, and this person books dinner, events and tours for you, so you don't need to worry with nothing!

We spent our fall break vacation at JA Manafaru and it was (again) FANTASTIC! It was our third time on this as a family. Our kids are 8 and 10 years by now. My husband and I spend our honeymoon on Manafaru back in 2008. Our stay was great in 2008 and it has been even better in the past last years! As always we stayed in the Deluxe Beach Villa with family pool. For the last two nights of our stay we had the opportunity to stay in the marvelous and breathtaking Ocean Residence. For the first time we have had the chance to have the best of both worlds - beach & ocean. Just great! The new management made a few changes on the island: there are only a few more chickens running around - the rest is in the most beautiful chicken farm I’ve ever seen: They’ve called it „Cluckingham Palace“. It’s in the middle of the island but guests are welcome to visit and have a look at it. There are also plans for a new bar and another restaurant. Most probably it will be opened by the time we come back again in Februar 2024. Also new: Kids Club Care: Seema and Lyn were really great playing and crafting with our daughter! Our daughter just loved everything in the kids club especially the Halloween program. Again a big big big thank you to the outstanding and friendly staff and of course F&B!!! The resort island is secluded and there is not much traffic around it. The area is rich with beautiful colourful reefs. The villa was impeccable and the sunset view was breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We liked the sustainability efforts of the resort as they started to grow in house mushrooms and vegetables and rely more on solar power. We really appreciate also that Ja Manafaru accommodated our last minute dates change due to an emergency.

Needs some refurbishment.

The Island: I have visited many resorts and islands, this one is fantastic. The Resort: little bit old and needs refurbishment. However, the facilities are beautiful : the infinity pool, the tennis court, the football court, cinema room, gym, etc. The Staff: amazing all of them. Special thanks to Hajar and the management for the upgrade. Big thanks to Chef Moussa and his team as the Food is amazing. It’s all a la carte but you will eat very well. Delicious cuisine and excellent service. Special thanks to Mohamed, Nizam, Aiman, Ismail, Semba… The Beach Villa is awesome and I recommend trying the Ocean 2 Bedrooms villa! It’s just stunning with the sunset and sunrise. The infinity pool and the facilities are fantastic. Snorkeling in the area is pure happiness.

commute there is long. that’s the trade off for being isolated and so quiet there. one way we took the seaplane which was an exciting experience by itself.

Perfect paradise! beautiful nature, very nice landscape design that blends great with nature, spacious villas so you can enjoy private time, all facilities are well kept, options for excursions, perfect service and excellent food. I loved the concept of the personal host they offer all guests - during all the stay we had a personal experience host that made everything easy - thank you Mangal for being such a great host.
