Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI wish they had a buffet available in the evening. The restaurant were good but if you stay more than 3 nights, it gets repetitive. We didn't leave property for dinner because our 6 year old was exhausted after playing in the sun all day.
The breakfast was wonderful and it was close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

United StatesThe service at the swim up bar was a but slow, I think they need more employees at peak hours. Also, the showers need to be updated.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very helpful! They rooms have a beautiful view and are spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious and has a nice view. They also served a good lunch. The drinks at the pool were so also good.

United StatesFor the price I expected a hotel which was not showing its age so much. The aircon in the room was either to warm or cold and adjustment didn’t work. One day there were no beach towels and was told they would bring one in 30 minutes. After an hour I went back and asked for a towel. They were out but had kept one back for me. Alcohol free beer was only available through room service.
The location of the hotel was central and had a large beach area.

United StatesIf I have to nitpick... we were a bit lost since this was our first all inclusive experience, so we didn't really know what was available to us, we had to find out little by little. The drinks were weak which might be disappointing for some but it was not a big deal for us. The Asian restaurant food was underwhelming and service at the Mexican restaurant was really slow.
This hotel was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful. The kids activities were nothing fancy but just with my 3 year old needed besides a pool and a playground, thank you to Monserrat from the kids club for being so sweet with my girl. The room was comfy and the breakfast and lunch buffet were great, The dinner buffet and the Italian and Mexican restaurant were decent. My 9 month old baby loved the food there haha The location was perfect, close to the airport and so pretty. I highly recommend it.

United KingdomThe hygiene in the food and beverage areas was very poor. We had a few unpleasant issues that despite being highlighted to staff ( apologies and room number noted) were never followed up. I was worried we would catch something from the hygiene issues and sure enough I left the hotel feeling unwell and have now tested positive to COVID. I have emailed the hotel with my concerns but so far have not received a response. Also as first time visitors we would have liked a bit more information and we felt a bit lost as we didn’t find any information in the room or anywhere else. We asked for a drinks menu at the bar and were told there isn’t one so had no idea what was on offer. I was told there was a wine list at the restaurants and we had to ask for it but when we did request one it never materialised. This was our first time all-inclusive and don’t think we will repeat the experience.
Breakfast buffet was vast and in a lovely restaurant overlooking the beach. Beautiful place for breakfast. However breakfast despite wide choice was of mediocre quality. I just had lots of the fresh fruit and yogurts. The location was stunning on a beautiful part of the beach. The hotel itself is beautiful too and every room seems to have a front facing ocean view. Quite close to the airport for easy transfers and similar distance to old town area. Our room was lovely and despite being an older hotel was well cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful although sometimes we struggled with communicating due to language ( we don’t speak Spanish and not all staff speak English) but they all tried to help where they could. The other restaurants food was mixed as had some good meals and also some poor ones. I think the emphasis is on quantity rather than quality but maybe they are trying to meet the needs of people with huge appetites!

United StatesMy only complaint goes to the pool music at night that you can hear from the room, something that can be solved easily
We just came back from our stay in Fiesta Americana, and all we can say if that we were very happy with all the staff there, they made our stay with our 7 old month baby very pleasant and confortable. The team at the breakfast restaurant was always super friendly and attentive to us. Greetings to all the guys working hard there that helped us: Alejandro, Gume, Eduardo, Rosalio and many others that I did not get their names. They were all great!. Also Miguel and Alejandro from El mexicano restaurant were awesome!. And we also received great service at the pool, greetings to Yonni and Sergio for helping us and being so attentive. A special thank to the captain of the restaurants (I did not get his name) for helping us on getting us a microwave in our room, something that made our stay with our baby so much easier, super super thanks!

MexicoWhen I checked in I was over charged for my son and I included him in my reservation? Staff member was not very concerning and still over charged me 2600 pesos. When in the restaurants some of the waiters were not very attentive we’re standing around and not checking back with the customers. Everything they sold was super expensive $30 for a sunblock is outrageous.
I loved the view from our rooms. The all inclusive alcoholic drinks and mariscos. The air conditioning in the rooms & beds were comfortable.

CanadaPrice-wise, I think it's a bit expensive for what we get. Food at the buffet is ok at best. There is not much entertainment at the hotel - which was fine for me and my husband but can be a bit boring for people looking for more action. And just a warning for all travellers out there, in very tourist countries (like Mexico), you can never get too comfortable with your belongings. Watch out for the money bills you bring with you. Again, you become vulnerable to bad-intentioned people when you spend the day outside of your room, especially when it comes to an all-inclusive stay.
The location is convenient - close to the airport. The beach wasn't bad, but the Pacifico is definitely not a beach you can swim. Food at the buffet - breakfast and lunch - is ok at best. We enjoyed most the Cevicheria, and both Asian and Italian restaurants - the ones you need to book in advance. The room is comfortable with a very nice view of the ocean. There is not much entertainment at the hotel - which was fine for me and my husband. However, we had an incident that - although promptly handled by Alma, the Guest Service Manager - it's worth mentioning for all travellers out there. ALWAYS take extra precautions with your belongings, cash especially. You are vulnerable to falling prey to bad-intentioned people when you spend the day outside of your room in an all-inclusive hotel.

United StatesI didn’t really like that there weren’t to many options and the drinks weren’t that great, but they weren’t bad.
I liked that the resort seemed pretty classy for the most part and the buffet and restaurants were decent. The pool is nice and big and the swim up bar is kinda kiddied in its own corner which was nice.
