We stayed in the private villas. Our only recommendation would be to have the service entrances locked for each unit.

The location, staff, and amenities were exemplary! We were impressed with the service, the variety of food options, and the activities available on-site. This was a perfect holiday getaway with family.

Everything was great. The only downside is the beach isn’t swimmable but you can go to the Pueblo Bonito sister resorts Rose and Blanco that are in town and right on Medano Beach. They have free shuttles between the resorts every hour or you can drive and park there for free if you have a rental car.

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach and the Montecristo Villas are their own big oasis. Lots of restaurants and pools and activities. The property is secluded and really let’s you get away and relax and you can go to the Pueblo Bonito sister resorts Rose and Blanco that are in town and right on Medano Beach if you want more action.

The Villa my family and I stayed in was absolutely wonderful with an amazing view! Great restaurants, Incredible staff, especially our concierge, Raul, he went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were satisfied throughout our stay. The hospitality made me feel right at home! I will definitely come back again next year!

In times of the pandemic the Montecristo villas offer the perks of an all inclusive resort without the worrisome crowds. Each villa includes large separate 3 bedroom with full bathrooms, kitchen, private pool. The hotel offers wonderful assortment of meals in its nearby marketplace or room service. Although the property it’s self is located a fair distance away from the main sister properties with the full amenities of restaurants and main pool, vacationers can opt for a golf cart to rent and jet around the property.

I didn't appreciate the Coffee Shop workers insisting on receiving a tip just to pour a cup of coffee. They took advantage of my young sons.

Our villas was in Phase 2 which was directly across the street from The Market. This was perfect for us. I would have hated to be in Phase 1 on top of the mountain and have to wait for transportation every time wanted something to eat.

Shuttle service was horrible, we called on a few occasions and it was over an hour late or it never showed up at our villa.

Everything was perfect. Free shuttles to sisters resorts. Also, a bunch of restaurants are included in the all inclusive. Drinks and breakfast was deliver to our villa. Couldn’t have asked for more. The all inclusive offers free COVID testing for your return trip back to the U.S. lastly, you can go to any of the sister resorts and use your all inclusive at the bars even the bars by the beach.

The only thing I didn’t care for was our glass bottom boat tour. That was the only disappointment.

The Monte Cristo Villa was breathtaking from the ocean views to the design. The property is well maintained daily.

I reserved to stay in a l villa closer to everything and they ended up sticking my party of 6 that also had a couple of seniors into a Villa that was completely out of the way. The villa we stayed at had a great view but it was run down and needed to be maintained during our stay. The villa was old and has a lot of issues such as a leaking ceiling and so forth. The AC was also never fixed so my Inlaw’s slept in a very hot room.

Our villa had air conditioning leak, the pull out bed was broken. They sent a roll away bed that was also broken so thankfully we had a blow up bed that we packed. The hotel should have offered another villa but they never did.

The grounds were beautiful, the villa was large. The shuttle staff was so friendly as well as the front desk.

We prefer registered but still had to wait with 50 other people upon arrival in a small lobby to check in. I messaged the resort several times prior to our arrival but no one ever answered. Upon arrival w me we’re given a unit with a poor view, cold pool. We asked to be moved and we’re the next day. We asked to have the pool heated but we’re told the rules changed and the pool could now longer be any higher than 87 degrees. Upon moving to the next villa we had the same experience with the pool and the jacuzzi also. This took another day to heat them both and the pool was still not as warm as I wanted. On the third day we had high winds which lasted two days and because of the water temperature we could not use either the pool or jacuzzi. We tried to order room service and found that there was a limit and e could only call once every 45 minutes and could not add to previous orders even though other people in our group hadn’t ordered.

I love the exclusively and privacy a Villa offers. The private pool and jacuzzi and feeling of being in your own home but yet with room service.
