So close to nature. Pure joy!!!

The staff and relaxed atmosphere was a nice way to end our 2 week vacation exploring Mexico. The seaweed was less then at Tulum but because of rocks and reef behing the hotel we could enter the beach directly behind the hotel.

We had half board and the Breakfast and dinner was great. The Mayan staff was so genuine and nice. We were glad the beach bungalow could accommodate 5 people but it was a tight fit.

Good question...

After 10 days with our daughter (3,5) and our son (7 Month) and could go on an on about how relaxing this vacation was. I think the biggest impact was how the beach and nature are included in the hotel area and how awesome the food is.

The wifi connection was terrible. I basically didn’t have any wifi in my room (which to be honest is not the end of the world as you are on the beach/in the middle of the jungle) - so it’s probably good to disconnect for a bit.

Great location on the beach. I think this beach is really beautiful and if you walk down from the hotel for 10min you can swim in the ocean in a spot with less seaweed - there is still some seaweed, but once you walk or swim past it the ocean is really nice. The best part of the hotel are the free yoga classes every morning! I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived as I didn’t know they had these classes. The yoga teacher is incredible: very friendly and her class is excellent. The hotel staff are also very helpful and organised a Temazcal experience for me. The Shaman was great and it was all done on location. Really good reception/front desk service. The pool is also decent size and warm - perfect for a swim.

The ocean isn’t swim-able in front of the hotel due to rocks, but you can walk a few properties down the beach to swim in the ocean.

Beautiful location on the beach, comfortable bungalows, small and intimate setting ( not a big resort), great pool.

Not the hotel’s fault but we couldn’t really go into the sea due to the bad seaweed (sargassum) on the shore line which built up significantly after a storm whilst we were there. This seaweed also smelt!

The Beach Bungalows were very comfortable and in a great position right on the sand and close to the sea. The bar and pool area were lovely and the food was generally very good. The dinners were much more enjoyable when held outside by the bar - the indoor dining area was a bit dark in the evenings and lacked atmosphere.

We were a bit disapointed as to the food for dinner. The food could have been served any where in the world. We would have liked to taste more of the Mexican cuisine.

The hotel area was very cozy and the staff very friendly. Our boungalow was located in paradise ! We felt relaxed as we entered. The food from the pool bar was great.

there are huge seegrass problems on the whole beach in that area. you can still enjoy your stay at the beach - with beautyful views, but the water is full of seegrass

Quite far from the city and taxi ride is quite expensive Also everybody traveling in summer (june till september i think) should be aware that there is a lot of algae at the beach. But that is true for whole rivera maya, so nothing bad about petit lafitte

Nice rooms, relaxed atmosphere, extremely friendly stuff and overall just a great experience! Very nice resort (tropical paradise) and you find everything you need there, so you can just relax and enjoy your stay. Food was also surprisingly well, especially taco night on the beach was amazing! Prices seemed very fair for what it offers. Would definitely return

Just the size of the bungalow I wish there was a bit more entertainment Also wish there was a gym

I loved the bungalow concept but I assumed it was much bigger. It was definitely too small for my family of 6 so I did end up having to purchase another room after getting there. Other than that, I loved the proximity of the beach and how there were so many massage options close by.

Where do you start........ From the moment you arrive they provide excellent customer service. This trip was amazing. The ENTIRE STAFF PROVIDE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We arrived a little earlier and they did their best to accommodate us. Yoga, the bar, massages, front desk, kitchen staff, room service staff even the people cleaning the beach..... just wow!!! Honestly, I can't think of anything

I liked the perfectly maintained garden, the cozy and homely atmosphere, the friendly staff, the cuisine was very good. I was looking for a small place without the typical tourist crowds and I found it!!! We rented a bungalow situated on the beach among palm trees. There is a garden with extraordinary flowers and also an organic vegetable garden. The restaurant was great. At breakfast, we could choose from a menu in addition to the buffet. At dinner there was always soup and a salad bar and we were offered to choose from two main courses. Everything was delicious. If, unlike us, you want some entertainment, there is live music every evening. Also, there are yoga and tai chi classes. In a nutshell, we loved the place and we hope to be back there again.

Nothing - we barely left - couldn’t drag ourselves away!

The location is amazing. We stayed in a bungalow at the back and you felt like you were in the jungle. So glad we booked a bungalow over the standard rooms. We even saw monkeys, along with lots of other wildlife. Simply stunning. Lots of hammocks and beautiful beach area. Great to have dinner included though kids didn’t love the food! Great lunch selection at beach bar, and enjoyed some great live music in the afternoons. super friendly staff too.

Thursday night's dinner in the inside restaurant was so so .. dry chicken. The hotel next door was blaring club music until the wee hours at a crazy loud volume. We felt like they were taking revenge on our hotel. We love music and even club music and even late into the night .. but the sheer volume was crazy loud. Unfortunately we know this was not our hotel's fault and had no control to have it stop or slow down

We stayed in a bungalow and really enjoyed it. We had lunch everyday at the outside restaurant and loved all the food there. Dinner on the grill on the sand and bonfire was wonderful. Breakfast everyday was wonderful also.
