ON the beach, I could see the ocean from my garden view room, which had a gorgeous lanai and overlooked a beautiful array of tropical plants and a beautiful spiral staircase. Loved that they had little pools to rinse your feet outside each room! Front desk was so kind and helpful, especially Marcael, and they had novels to borrow! The breakfast was nice with eggsm fruit and coffee or juice, and Fernando the server was kind and efficient. I loved how the double doors from my bed opened up onto the lanai. The beach area has swings and combrotable chairs/beds. There is a massage area on the beach for like $25, and there is a little bar there, too. Absolute paradise. That hotel zone in Tulum can be noisy and bumpin, but thus hotel sits in a particular spot that is quiet at night. Perfect. The air conditioning only runs from 8pm to 8am, which was absolutely fine in April/May. Parking was available, too, but just know that they stack cars in a driveway, and you have to give your key to hotel staff, which was fine, it just made it so that I couldn't just come and go without sometimes having to have staff move other cars. They were quick about it tho.

Its cute place right on the beach. Good price on the beach of Tulum. As the beach is way mire expwnsive than the city. Good price food and drings on the becah. Chill place.

We stayed over Christmas and really enjoyed it. The view and the beach was exceptional and everything about our penthouse was great. Unfortunately it rained almost the whole time, but I could not fault the staff or the hotel. Very happy.

Room provided was located just on side of reception and parking lot of hotel. Sound of air conditioning of building was behind our room so it was very noisy. Asked for potential room swap (knowing that there were other room available at the moment) but we have been told that it would be an extra charge of 40$ Ventilator didn’t work when we arrived on the room, a replacement with wire has been given to us meanwhile original one was fixed. Issue has not been fixed during our stay there. Room is provided with a so called private terrasse. But we couldn’t enjoyed it because it was just in front of the reception and the stairs to upper rooms. Continental breakfast is included but it is just a small fruit plate, a small omelette and the equivalent of half toast with butter and jam. We could expected better giving price we paid

the beach was not clean, they could make a little effort and clean it, it wouldn’t take much as the beach in front of the hotel is small.

the location, it was nice that they provided in the room filtered water for free. it is a good value for money compared to other hotels nearby. the day we checked out, there was a taxi strike, but luckily they had a car available with a driver so we could go to our next hotel, it was even a little bit cheaper than the taxi, that was much appreciated.

Nothing not to like.

Great location on the Tulum beach road. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt safe. Easy walking distance to all the great restaurants, bars and shops. It was private and quiet. Free breakfast included was filling and delicious.

we were initially placed in a room which was damp and smelt like damp but the staff were very helpful and put us in another room available. Its not for everyone and not the hotels fault but you end up dragging in a lot of sand from the beach and the paths into the room so be prepared to never feel completely cleaned off. Our shower was very weak pressure so it just made the whole process and experience of getting all the sand off tedious

Only con is unsteady water pressure and adjusting and getting hot water was pretty hard.

Room interior exceeded expectations. Nothing like on photos but better. Stuff was extremely nice and helpful. Even though we stayed for only three nights, our room was entirely cleaned every day. Hotel facility includes private beach with loungers, umbrellas and bar. Location is in my opinion unbeatable. Little as 5 minutes by walk to the best restaurants such as RosaNegra, Bak, Ilios, Gitana.. Literally in the middle of everything but you still don’t get any noise and can sleep in peace. Facility has a private parking as well. We simply loved it!

Playa Canek was a very wonderful place. It has a great beach sight, also you can enjoy seing the stars at night in front of you. When you wake up in the morning you would enjoy the sound of sea waves. Playa Canek has beautiful facilites sorrounded by sand, which makes you feel in deep contact with nature.

Much too expensive for what it is worth. Anyways Tulum is full of cartels now, I dont know wha anybody would want to go there. Do not go there. It is not recommended. Very expensive price for what you get.

Massive leak in our room due to bad rain. Water was coming through the walls and windows .clothes and belonging got soaked. Had to move rooms at 11pm as it was water was running into electrics and was dangerous. Moved to a room at the front that was extremely noisy and we got no sleep. The next morning the water hadn't even been cleaned up, as imagined we were very unhappy. Went to the front desk to complain, was offered a room change to the room we had spent the night in which we refused. After a bit of back and forth we were offered a different "upgraded" room..exactly the same as our room just a sea view . I asked for compensation for the inconvenience and damage to our belonging. To which he said no as "it was not his fault" and " there was no problem with the room , it was the rains fault" . There was obviously a very big problem with the room if water was coming through the walls. Ridiculously bad customer service. Would Not recommend this hotel. Photos are deceiving and makes it look like there is a pool, there is not! Thats a private pool for one room only.
