The bathroom was very small, but that added to the quaintness.

The breakfast was delicious! I had homemade sourdough bread with marmalade. My husband had pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Everything was homemade and very good sized portions.

Lovely, pretty, convenient place, but traffic's a little loud at night

Noise from the road was loud at night. There's a speed bump, so cars accelerate after it. Maybe it was worse since it was Friday night, but it was hard to sleep.

Really cool garden/patio area with lots of plants and comfortable places to hang out. Very close to the plaza, restaurants, bars, etc., and a 25 minute walk to the beach. Friendly, helpful hosts. Clean.

A bit noisy, rooms are pretty bare but typical for inexpensive Mexican hotel.

Property is somewhat rustic but the location is good. Rooms were small, clean and the coffee was excellent.

It’s on the corner of a busy road and there is traffic noise.

A place to stay nearby the Art Walk

The mattress is quite hard and the bed sounded like it would fall apart anytime I moved which made it hard to fall asleep. Found it a little hard to find the place at first, but in the end parked and walked around and found it.

It's a cute place close to downtown. They had cats which was a nice bonus! Didn't talk to the staff much, but when I did, they were friendly. Even though there was an event happening nearby, didn't find noise to be a problem. Nice and close for checking out some cute restaurants as well as the Art Walk.

This is a small hotel with a wonder bohemian/vintage Mexican vibe. The owners are very friendly, thoughtful and gracious. Provided very helpful recommendations for places to hike, eat and visit. Fabulous location near the estuary trail leading to the beach and next to the art galleries and central plaza. I appreciated all of the trees and garden and elevated walkways and outdoor places to relax and art

The property manager charged me more than the rate show on booking page due to "the mexican conversion fee". Ultimately I think the difference was to have me pay for what he would otherwise have to pay Booking for their fee.

The common space was very relaxing.

Breakfast for two was expensive at thirty dollars. It was hard to find the entrance, especially in the dark. Should give directions in the initial email to guests

There is new construction next door and at corner of a busy street so bring ear plugs and possibly eye shades. The hotel cannot control traffic or construction hours. Price of progress. People with mobility issues will have a difficult time with ramps and stairs. We were ok with mobility.

All was very good. Hernan and his lovely wife are great owners and generous couple. Very good Americano coffee in-house. Authentic Mexican experience. Not a beachside resort, which is what we want to avoid. Good location very close to Cathedral and Town Square. Great dining, shopping and transportation options. Very walkable, very safe, very friendly locals. Bring your smile. :)

The only downside was the traffic noise but that was exacerbated with the Thursday Art Walk.

The owners were very kind and helpful. We felt like we were staying with family. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. It is an excellent location for seeing the Old town of San Jose del Cabo and walking distance to beaches and lagoon. Thursday is Art Walk and we happened to arrive in the middle of it, literally, driving from the airport to our Hotel. It is a very fun and interesting event with all kinds of vendors, artists and musicians. A definite must see and is minutes from our hotel entrance. We travel with our dog so it is one of the few places that take dogs. We also had secure parking only a short walk from our hotel, which is a bonus given the location.
