the mattress on my bed (209 i believe) was really worn out so it had a hole in the middle, my back hurt every morning. the manager is not always there and no one else is so if you need something you’ll have to wait a very long time. he also was always with a long face when i asked about anything

i liked the fact that they had common spaces for travelers to meet and a basic kitchen with a fridge

The bathrooms have lots of ants and mosquitoes, the bar is very loud til late so make sure you bring ear plugs. The bar doesn’t have any soft drinks you can only buy alcohol? A few old, weird people were staying in the hostel which made it a bit uncomfortable. Make sure you request a bottom bunk as the air con doesn’t reach the top bunks very well and all the mattresses dip SO bad in the middle, it was like sleeping on paper. Only had air con in the rooms so as soon as you step out to socialise/shower/go to the toilet it’s instantly boiling.

The curtains on the bed, super close to the beach. The staff are so friendly and always happy to help. Lots of cats to cuddle. The mattresses are wider than a normal single bed size.

Mirrors inside the bathrooms would be nice. There are mirrors in the rooms and kitchen, but shaving in a common area is a little awkward.

Perfect hostel with amazing vibes. Beds were comfortable and private. There's also a bar attached that's one of the best on the island. Beach and night market are only a 5-10 minute walk away.

The guy there was so busy so he was a little bad tempered. I'm saying goodbye to him, he just looking me like a orangutan.

I had some minor plumbing issues with the bathroom by our room so you had to be on top of it. You know what I mean. But that wouldn't mind her and everything else is fine

Like the vibe, it's very much like a hostel. Should be a bunch of travelers hanging out talking. and the fact that they have a local bar there that everybody likes doesn't hurt. So expats come from all over the island to hang out... OH AND A BBALL COURT! AND KITTIES 😻

If you like cats, this is the place to be! They have A LOT. And also the staff was super nice and i met wonderful people. Really social, friendly atmosphere:)

Not much! Not the properties fault at all but if i had to say something it would be the main road in town being a 1 way - not a big deal at all though

The place is really cool - laid out on an abandoned fair/amusement park (i believe) the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming and its easy to feel comfortable quickly and meet some great ppl in the process. The man who runs the place, June is one of the nicest ppl youll ever meet! My flight got delayed and I didnt get in until almost 3am and he stayed up waiting for me to make sure I made it/got checked in and settled. Thanks for everything June!

I enjoyed my stay here and was thankful for June who organised 2 trips whilst I was there. Rooms were well equipped and the shower has hot water if you need it. You can refill you water bottles and there's boiling water on tap as well. I liked that I didn't have to worry about a key as the rooms had codes instead. I didn't find the bar to be too noisy when I went to bed early, i just put ear plugs in and had a great sleep. Pretty good location, not far from the main street and beach.

Great location and very clean. The AC in our private room was fantastic! The hostel itself had a really nice vibe for backpackers, there was a nice bar you could socialise in that was open late every night. June who runs the hostel was lovely and super helpful!

We had a private room and the wifi didn’t reach so we had to go to the common room to use wifi. Also the shower didn’t get very warm, not a huge issue given the climate but may be to some.

I loved the location, walking distance to lots of good food and amenities. The place was very clean. The cats roaming in and out were also a plus.

Cats allowed in the rooms, can avoid allergies outside but not on your bed. Public bar connected to the hostel so people in and out.
