A very historic and beautiful place. Design of the whole compound and the room was great, has a rustic charm, but at the same time not compromising on comfort. Rooms were clean and hotel staff were all very friendly.

Breakfast was a little underwhelming. But there are so many great places you can go for breakfast nearby including the morning food market.

Gorgeous traditional building, very tranquil and green but right in the middle of Georgetown. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we loved the daily afternoon tea with cake and fruit which was complimentary. Our room was very spacious, charming and comfortable.

Super close to bars and hawker stalls. There is tea in the afternoon with snacks which were amazing. The staff was so nice. You keep your room key at the front desk. My friend and I came back super late one night and they waited for us all night to give us the key and lock up after we left. Two 20 something girls approved. The included breakfast was amazing. Cafe next door served you and the staff remembered our orders. It was so comfortable

As expected of a restored heritage property, the floorboards creak and can be noisy especially in the silence of the night. Avoid the units downstairs as noise from the upstairs units can sometimes be intrusive. Water pressure for the showers aren't that great but acceptable.

A fairly good breakfast menu is offered and served ala carte. Hotel is quaint and offers lots of privacy and quiet spaces.

Ventilation in the bathroom. It gets stuffy especially after someone finish using it. The bed and pillow is on the softer side. But this is just our family personal preference who prefers slightly firmer bed and pillow You may get some passing traffic noise from time to time later in the night but it’s a small trade off for being near enough to the action

THe aircondition works a bit loud, ear plugs are provided.

The location is fantastic. The place itself is very quite and has beautiful features, in particular the furniture is a mix of modern and traditional. We liked the serenity of the place and the friendliness of the service. The breakfast is served in a neighboring restaurant and is just fine for the day adventures to come.

Location, decor and history . Having stayed at the EO previously, 23 Love Lane was in our opinion better value and better appointed. Exquisite furnishing, amazing restoration and super comfortable - literally going back in time in style. We will be back.

The location was perfect, right near a lot of places of interest and also not a far walk from the jetty. The staff were exceptional; they were able to organize drivers at short notice for a very good price. The rooms itself were spacious and this is unique accommodation that has been well kept. And last but not least the extra bonus of the resident cat "Mike" who is more than likely to appear and ask for pats throughout the day.

It was a very atmospheric, lovingly and thoughtfully restored boutique hotel In the heart of the unesco heritage site. With amazing staff who were all happy to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. With a special shout out to Bikram. The eclectic mix of stylish antiques and art. There were plenty welcoming of shared spaces to relax.
