Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

MalaysiaWhen I entered that room for the first day I found out that so many dust (table, the bed). The kettle, mug, cover bedsheet, blanket not clean. The toilet door can't lock from outside because the lock is broken. I really disappointed because before this I always check in here when I'm going outstation from Sabah and the room is so comfortable and clean. I hope after this before guest come and check in, management please check the room first.
Location is good. Easy to find and easy going anywhere, housekeeping very friendly and very helpful.

Thailand• The Hotel room has no fridge, no kettle. • Very disgusting smell of cigarettes smoke and piss. • Looks like it has never been cleaned. • Dirty water coming out of the sink and shower sometimes. • Bed sheets haven‘t been washed and contain burn marks from cigarettes. • You also find burn marks from cigarettes everywhere else in the room. • Tiny ants everywhere in the room. Even under and INSIDE of the bed. • Found an used shaver with hair in the bathroom. • unsecure wifi for customers which makes tracing data easier • no room service / no cleaning
