Sadly the small beach is near the fishing village so it was quite littered. Nothing which Nemo Chalet can do about it, but just worth knowing. The staff could have been a bit warmer or more knowledgeable of the area.

The room was very comfortable. Nice to have a view over the bay. There is a nice beach with a bar and restaurant 15 mins walk to the northwest through the jungle.

The excursions cost 30% more then the same tours booked in the village or privately. Same for all transfers (ex redang )

Close to the village, private jetty, nice snorkelling in front, nice view.

No activity to do at night, it just quite. The cafe at the chalet is closed.

It was great to do snorkel just in front of the chalet. The kids were happy, we could find nemo there and a lot of fishes. The receptionist also help us to booked taxi water. And the agent from ocean blessings really helpful. For the food we can walk 5 minutes to Nelayan village (Medan Selera), the food was great, for lunch you can go to Rania cafe (10am-5pm) and warung pak jokong just next to Medan selera for breakfast and dinner. And also there is a shop (you can buy snack kampung (I forgot the name, but it was the 1st shop when you come to Medan selera) like donut, roti isi ikan (they have frozen to bring home) ☺️

The built jetty on the island was closed, so the boat had to drop us off on an in-water one that was very scary coming back at night. The water was great but the beach was a bit rocky, and most of the restaurants and stores were on long island

The place was clean, and everyone was amiable and helpful. They let us store some snacks we had in their fridge and gave us many recommendations. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the sheets and towels smelled good. There was a boiler for hot water and a great new aircon

Not much. Just that we need to climb a lot of stairs to get to our room. May not be suitable with old people. I find it a bit hard to get water taxi in this area compare to other parts of perhentian. You need to go to to the jetty and hopefully someone can help you there. May not be a big problem during daytime, but maybe a little hard at night time.

The staffs are friendly. We book our boat to perhentian through them and got rm10 discount on each ride. The room is big. The bathroom is also big. A good place to stay with family. If you want to eat, you can walk to the fisherman village to eat. You can snorkel in front of the chalet. You can interact with locals here.

Room shall come with hot shower. The rental for goggle and life jacket shall rent with more lower price and shall pay one time during the whole staying for your guest. Not just for few hours.

The location consider good which near to the fishing village which you can easily get the foods and anything. Rooms looks new and think is just after renovation.

Only downside is I got the room on top floor.. Where it's was quite challenging to bring my kids up and down. Apart from that everything was great.

The stay was very plesent. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They helped me in all the way through out the stay.. Highly recommend as the Chalet is infront of the beach and have enough space for kids to explore and swim around.

Cold shower - but it was actually quite nice after a day at the beach under the sun. Location is a taxi ride away from Long Beach which has the most restaurants, bars etc, but water taxis are affordable and can be accessed really quickly.

Host was really helpful and arranged taxis, snorkelling and transfer back to the airport. She was really friendly and pleasant, a great rapport with all the guests.

The accomodation is basic which suits us fine. There are private toilets and showers although the water is not that hot - again no big deal for us. AC and fans all work fine.

The staff were brilliant, particular mention to Mieydah on the front desk but all of the staff went out of their way to provide guidance, organise tours and transfers at the best prices. The location is nice and quiet with very good snorkeling right out the front. The nearby fishing village provides plenty of eating options as well as inexpensive water taxis to other parts of the island or to the bigger island.
