Noise of construction outside from 6am - pretty tough to sleep through. No aircon or fridge to keep things cold so had to keep windows open with noise.

There was like 1 outlet in the main room, air conditioning did not work - we tried the little knob on the radiator and nothing happened. Bathroom had a musty smell. The floor was not even. The stairs to get up to the doors and room were SO STEEP. Do not stay here if you have more than a backpack or small carry on. And if you have more luggage than that, you will need help. The door to the hotel is on the side of the building so that was a little confusing but a woman pointed us in the right direction. No bottle water or anything provided.

Location is great - right on a canal, 15-20 minutes drive from the airport.

The stairs are steep and narrow but nothing unexpected for Europe. You need your own soap supply.

On arrival the agent / owner met us and provided an upgrade from Room A to Room B which was the larger of the two. We love this area from other in Amsterdam as it has a greater number of residents vs tourist's and hence the quality and prices in restaurants is more reasonable and better quality. The lake and street views from the room are also a real plus. The room was larger than typical and very comfortable and looked to have been recently renovated too a high standard. Just a 15 minute walk from the Central rail station with easy service to from airport. Only took taxi to due to coming of cruise ship which is about a 25 minute walk.

Skinny stairs but to be expected and worth it as we were in a beautiful and historical Amsterdam building.

What a lovely outlook from the window - we were so delighted with the canal view. On top of that the flat was bijou, stylish, elegant and everything we needed.

Only one power outlet in the room. The stairs were pretty stiff and narrow, very hard to climb with luggage.

Perfect location and facilities. Would happily return again. short 15 minute scenic walk from the train station. cute boutiques and cafes one street away, complete with supermarket, coffee shops and bars. although we entered into the centre most nights you can happily stay local and enjoy what the area has to offer.

Freezing cold on arrival. Main door faulty and slammed shut throughout the night. Very few sockets for charging devices. Noise, both from upstairs and outside. Leaking radiator (put glass under to connect drips)

What a battle finding the place and when we did, it wasn't at all what we were expecting based on the pictures on the website. We left and found other accommodation. Sad! We use booking.com often and this is not booking.com standard.

Back in 2019, someone commented that you had to use an extension cord from bathroom to bedroom to plug in their electrical devices ... but they thought that was temporary. This is 2022. it's not temporary. Check out the photos. At least we were able to charge our phones but kinda crazy!

Fire safety was very bad. Service was nonexistence, very unpersonal. The darkness in the room was very poor due to the curtains where to far from the window. The price was far too expensive for what you get.

We came to a wide-open building - what gave us a feeling of an unsafe place to leave our things at. When I called the owner to ask about it he said that "other residents don't close the door properly and there is nothing to do about it". - The staircase to the building and to the apartment is extremely (each step is approx. 15 cm deep). - The door to the toilet doesn't close and since the light opens automatically, when you go to the toilet during the night - you will wake up the person you sleep with. - The window blinds were broken and so is the water temperature controller in the shower. I wrote the owner an email about it and he promised that someone will have a look at it and fix it - never happened. We regret for wasting our good money on that place.

Parking is impossible and very expensive! $50+ Plan on walking 30 minutes to nearest parking garage! While located on the third floor which gives you an amazing view, you have to be part mountain goat to actually get to the apartment. The stairs are definitely not up to any code that would pass in America or for anyone with larger than a size 2 shoe size….a little dangerous with bags or , errr alcohol, lol!
