The room got very hot but with aircon on was too cold. Plus it was only 8° outside so shouldn’t have needed air con! The en-suite was also tiny. The room was also quite dark as the window faced an enclosed courtyard.

There needed to be more mirrors! There was literally 1 mirror in the 1 bathroom which is a nightmare with 6 ladies!

Manager being rude and unfriendly made me a little uncomfortable at one point during my stay

The location was excellent...The manager was busy and came across as rude to myself and to other staff working there.However the other staff I met were very warm welcoming and helpful. Beer and Coke as welcome gift in room for first night of stay.. Snack box with crisps and chocolate available in reception on first night of stay..coffee available here at all times as well as coffee machine in room which was lovely

The mattress was pretty good but the pillows could have been a bit more comfortable. Only downside was that the room was warm when I got back in the second night. The air con didn’t work (one of those touch pad / screen ones that Einstein should struggle with) - no instructions in room and the night guy had no idea. So it was either hot room or open windows wide (it was raining and cold outside) and then close later. Only problem I had. I did mention this at check out. No real apology offered. No checkout offered. 2 night stay. One bad night due to hot room I’d have thought some discount / something would have been offered.

Great location and a very lovely and informative and helpful welcome. Coffee and snacks (all free) in reception a helpful staff all day who are well informed on the city and what to do and where to go and how to do it.

The staff had little to any contact with us, we had lost a family member a month prior to the trip and asked if we could cancel the booking and even with booking.com staff assistance they still wanted payment in full a month before the date of stay.

The stairs to the first floor were awkward/not easy to climb, and floor quite noisy, we could hear other guests up and down the stairs during the night. Location is great but some people may find it a bit far from the train station (if need to carry heavy lugage). I´d say about 20min walking.

Great snacks and coffee for free at the reception 24/7. Coffee machine with pods and kettle in the bedroom. Staff reception 24h, they were excellent! Friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Cozy room and very comfortable mattress, we loved the king bed. Not cold. Bathroom, was nice but only had shampoo, no body gel. Calm and safe neighbourhood, felt safe at night, close to the shops, about 5 to 10min walk. And a supermarket (jumbo) around the corner.

First room we took was on the last floor with a very long flight of stairs. Also, very noisy repair work right out of the window. However, when we complained, the manager immediately put us in another room on the other side of the hotel on first floor. Make sure that you stay away from the noisy repair when you go.

Situated in a lovely area with excellent location and short walking distance from centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room with all requirements. Room size was very good. Our stay was very pleasant and will come again for sure.

We received a different room to the one advertised in photos by booking.com. It worked out for us in the end due to the space being so big which compensated for it being different to what was advertised. A few things in the room were broken on arrival, the hotel sent a very nice handiman to fix, but it might be better to keep it in a slightly higher standard if repair.

Amazing location. Very nice feel to the accommodation, luggage storage not an issue. They allowed me to check in early and start getting ready for friends arriving which was really nice. The man on the front desk immediately recommended me several good books, one of which was about octopuses. This is very important to me when travelling. Flat living area was huge and perfect space for a big group of friends to cook and eat dinner and enjoy each others company. Staff really looked after us and everyone was so nice. Thanks a lot for a great trip!

The only main annoyance was that there's a constant noise coming from a heat pump / boiler by attached to the roof which is right by the front bedroom. The cooker was slightly awkward to use but got there in the end, just have to reset everytime you open the door as it goes into cooling mode.

We stayed in the 6 person loft apartment, the beds were comfy, it was very clean, fresh towels everyday, free coffee and snacks in reception whenever you like, we had some beers and Pepsi in the fridge when we arrived, free WiFi and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Very close to the centre, about a 20 minute walk to Central station, few minute walk to the tram or metro links. Right on the canel so views from the living area and front bedroom. Were able to store bags before check-in (16:00) and after check-out (10:00), the toilets by reception were also very nice.

Could’ve had a Mirror in the bedroom/ dressing table. A kettle would’ve been good too although welcome drinks and coffee machine downstairs was handy!

The only problem I had was during the day it was very loud upstairs, I was not even able to take a nap what I saw later was that the personal was cleaning the room, but for me it was horrible. Thats the only negative point, I would still book this hotel again because of the location and it was very clean.

The hotel is located very central and had everything I needed. Therefore 10/10.

Room seemed a little run down however did fit in with the vibe of the hotel. Stairs are steep and a little wonky. Confusion at check out over payment for room as we had already paid however told us it was still outstanding. (lady at desk handled it well)

Great location, massive bed and staff were friendly enough. Easy check in and 24 hour access. Clean enough. Nice big bath and pillows were super comfy. Not too hot or cold however temp was easily adjustable.

I had room nr 3. In between two stairs. I could sleep until 09:00, but from 07:00 I was awake from the noise at the stairs :-( It's like they stand in your room. The room is at level 1, so almost everyone is passing the room. Could easy be fixed with carpet on the step just before the room, or install a curtain in front of the door in the room to block the noise. Without this issue I would give a 9/10.

Nice room - in line with what you can expect from Amsterdam in that price range. Very nice building and location. You can take coffee in the room or at the ground floor - front desk. The one at the front desk is very good!!! A basic (sweet) breakfast is delivered in a basket in the room. That's ok. Is was 2 years like that in many hotels during Covid. Very friendly staff! The airco was already installed in the room. Also perfect as heating. The classic heating is behind the curtains, so the heat doesn't come in the room (it was freezing outside).
