Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Switzerlandroom layout, I still don't like the lavatory in the room, too little space for your toiletries, how about another shelf? tea or coffee in the room would be nice. coffee jam in the morning at breakfast. table space is limited during business rush hour.

Everyone working here is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! The location was perfect and they have parking. We didn't get breakfast but the coffee was top notch. When we get back to Rotterdam citizenM will always be my first choice.

United KingdomWhilst I would recommend this hotel, there were a few things that we were not so keen on. The shower room houses the toilet which only has frosted glass for privacy. The sink is outside the shower/WC room and is just separated from the bed by a curtain. The shower room is also quite small which can be difficult when showering. The bed is against the wall/window on one side, so one of us had to climb over the other if getting up during the night.
The location of this room was perfect - it was right in the centre of Rotterdam and an easy walk to most places. The staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable with modern features such as an iPad to control the TV, lights, blinds etc. The room even has a 'wake' feature that lights up and plays music to wake you up. There is a safe in the room and the bed is massive. The wi-fi is super fast and there is a comfortable lounge area.

The location is just in the middle of Kubus Apartments, Old harbor "Oudehaven" and Markthal, plenty of restaurants and sightseeing just by walking around the corner! Smart Rooms are all equipped with an iPad to control everything from lights to TV, a very neat feature! Rooms are quite small but with what you need for overnight, they have even different 'mood' settings to change ambiance lights and sound, Bedding is comfortable. The coffee in the restaurant is quite good and the staff is really friendly!

And the public spaces supplemented any need for a perfect stay. The internet connection was very good, and the media was great. It is such a good concept for a hotel in a European city.
