Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsParking was the only small niggle, but you can't have everything! The carpark was just a 5 minute walk away, so only really a problem if you have mobility issues.
Great location on the harbour front, good restaurant with plenty of options, staff lovely, excellent breakfast!

United StatesOur top floor room featured the contours and beams of the roof, requiring frequent ducking so as to not get whacked. Because of the hotel location, there is a lot of street noise at night until everyone turns it.
The Hotel Old Dutch is right on the road/walkway that separates it from the marina. All the shops and eateries are just a short walk from the entrance. A bicycle rental shop is about a minute away. The area has incredible charm. The beds and pillows were okay in terms of comfort. The morning breakfast was solid and included smoked salmon and fresh fruit. We arrived via train from Amsterdam Central, followed by an approximate 3-5 minute walk to the hotel.

NetherlandsIf we related it to the room price, we would have appreciated having more shampoo and body wash as well as lotion in the bathroom. The bathroom is very basic. Would have been nice to have a selection of fresh fruit for breakfast, on top of the fruit salad. Also, some dairy alternatives would have been absolutely great! But overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Amazing location and friendly staff! The check-in has been quick and easy. The harbour view from our room was remarkable, and it definitely made our stay more pleasant. Also, the interior design is very traditional, and we loved the paintings and photos on the walls.
