The location is nice, walking distance to Ecomare, a forest area and the beach. There were parking lots available. The center of the city and shops are not walking distance but can be easily reachable (10 min car) The flat was nice, well equipped and clean.

The reason we cannot give this the top score is that the hospitality feels a little mean. In advance you are told that only ONE set of single sheets will be provided, even though we had 4 beds in our apartment. We also had to reserve two sets of towels in advance. It seems mean at this price point to have to pay for such basics, this was one of the more expensive options on Booking.com. The set up assumes you arrive by car, we travelled by ferry and bike, so bringing sheets and towels is not practical. We expected there to be the same basic welcome pack that is provided by most apartments/AirBnB on arrival before we went to the shops What we got was 2 cloths, a washing up sponge, a tiny bottle of washing up liquid, 3 dishwashing tablets, a box of matches and a bin bag. When we arrived we had to chase the missing towels, pre-ordered but not there, make our beds with the 2 sets of requested bed linen!! - and then.... after all that ....we realised there was no soap, no tea/coffee or milk and although there is a coffee filter machine there were no paper filters. You can order bread rolls, but not coffee/butter/jam so we had to go out immediately and cycle to De Koog to get supplies. Fortunately we arrived at 16.00 so this was a hassle but ok, although of course some items like filters come in packets of 100 and liquid soap in a large plastic bottle... It just all felt mean spirited. Providing basic supplies like milk and tea and some handtowels and soap for the bathrooms are just nice hospitality touches that make you feel welcomed as a guest and help you meet basic hygiene requirements!

The location was quiet, near to the beach and the woods. The apartment was spacious and well furnished. This was an excellent base to explore the island by bike. The nearby towns had supermarkets so we could get food easily and we found a pizza restuarant round the corner which we enjoyed. We found the stay very restful

You either have to bring your own sheets and towels or pay an additional fee to rent them, per person. Paper products, such as paper towels are also not provided. It would have been nice if a kitchen towel had been provided, but perhaps it would have been included in the per person towel fee if we had chosen to rent towels instead of bring our own.

The location was next to the bus stop which was convient, even though the bus only came through every hour. Because of this having bikes or a car is preferable for this location. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was quite functional. We were able to lock up our bikes nearby which was great.

The SMART TV on the bedroom was great, but could’ve done with being in the living room. In the second bedroom, it should be easier to push the beds together.

Everything was just right.

The apartment was very clean and was perfectly set up for a family. It even came with board games, crafting and art supplies and movies for the kids. There was absolutely nothing we missed here.

As there is no shop we would have liked somewhere on site to buy milk, bread, coffee, soap etc as absolutely nothing was provided. A cafe would also be a good idea. Toilet paper and soap should at least have been left adequate for 2 nights.

Bathrooms a little tired and consequently didn’t feel as clean as it could have. Having to supply own towels and strip beds etc made it feel lower end than the price would lead you to expect.

the noise of the neighbors with children, but they were quiet after 23:00. the parking area is not spacious for driving in or out, though they have enough places. the tawls have to be request and paid. the cusions on the sofa are old.

Every time I turned my head while sleeping I was hitting a kind of incredible stupid plank panel above my head! I needed to sleep the other way around losing al the time my pillow! Really irritating…

Loved it mostly, but I have 3 small improvements to suggest: dish detergent ( not the dishwasher one) could be included in the kitchen package, along with tea towels. Recycling: it would be very good if you added a plastic recycling container, only paper and glass available. Make it clear on the site that towels are extra cost or bring your own.

Location is beautiful right across from the National park and dunes where you can take lots of hikes, also 10 min walk from Ecomare and 1,5 km away from the beautiful beach. Good parking at the location, always finding a spot. The apartments are not very big but are fully and recently renovated, very tastefully too. Everything works as it should and is modern: good shower and bath in one bathroom makes it very handy when you have a toddler, extra shower and sink in one of the bedrooms if you have bigger kids. Kitchen is a little small, but ok for a week holiday. It has everything you need including combi oven and dishwasher. TV in livingroom and both bedrooms. Beds are very comfortable and new, but good to know they are single beds joined together. Enough cupboard space to store things. Nice balcony with terras furniture. Quiet all the time around the complex, good for afternoon rest. They rent bikes right there, if you want to bike to the beach. Marco was very nice and helpful, he came immediately when we had an issue with the TV channels. Good to know: bring your own towels, soap and kitchen supplies ( salt, pepper, dish detergent, tea towels). There is a small service package supplied for the kitchen, but could not be enough for more than 3-4 days. We spent a lovely week and want to come back next year! Thank you, Marco!

Not really.

The sauna is definitely the highlight of the trip. Me and my friends really enjoyed it. I saw other guests mentioned about the board above the bed, we did not have it in our room, so I guess it is room specific. Besides, the location of the property is great. It is a walk away from the beach, and the beautiful national park. I would definitely recommend the place to everyone.

Nothing major, just observations: the bathroom could use some renovation. In comparison with the rest of the accommodation it's significantly outdated, while everything works nicely, it's just very well-used. Rented towels were quite thin, I would recommend bringing your own towels.

We liked the location, where you can have it all beach, woods, dunes, all at once. It's about 10-min bike ride to the small town with restaurants and supermarkets. You can rent bikes on the spot, also for kids and with child seats. The apartments were clean, well-equipped, quiet and spacious enough for three people to feel comfortable. We had a room with a balcony, apartment type 1, nice and cozy.
