Tap was leaking in our room so we had to keep mopping up the water. Minor inconvenience but otherwise was great.

Great location, 30 min walk to the centre or a few mins on tram. So many great coffee shops around! Hotel was clean and spacious with really helpful and friendly staff.

Heating doesn't work. The air-con just produced cold air. There already was a tiny electric radiator in the room which we used. When contacting the reception they told us they would bring a second one, since it was too late for maintenance to come. When we returned to the room at night we found a tiny air-fan heater and the existing radiator gone (so, essentially, we were worse off than when we contacted them). The air-con still wasn't fixed by the end of our stay (I doubt maintenance was even called - they sounded like they already knew this was an issue. They didn't even offer us to change rooms).

The location is excellent, right in the middle of the museum district and next to Vondelpark. The nicest part of Amsterdam, in our opinion. A tram stop is exactly outside which takes you to the city center within 5 to 10 minutes. The room was cleaned daily and was clean, and spacious (especially compared to other options at this price), and the bathroom was very nice. Besides the heating issue, which was more or less manageable with a radiator, and the nonchalantness of the reception, I would definitely suggest staying here.

The location was very convenient since it super close to the tram stop and the main museums. The reception is open 24h and the people are very friendly. I was able to leave my luggage after checkout which was very nice.

The Hotel itself was comfortable functional roomy and clean. The location is in the Museum precinct good for Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum as well as walking distance to the Heineken Museum and Experience. Food options also close. 40 min interesting walk into town or about 5 tram stops on routes 2 and 12.

The room above us had creaky floor boards so we heard them walking around but it wasn’t a big problem, we were only in the hotel at night so didn’t disturb us too much. The bed, whilst comfy, wasn’t the best for my back and I woke up a little achy, but that’s personal preference. My daughter slept soundly. The only reason I didn’t give it full marks is that we didn’t make use of the breakfast so couldn’t mark that but otherwise, absolutely joy and will certainly be back.

The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Our shower was massive and we had a ground floor room with a little enclosed garden. I thought we would hear a lot of noise as we were right next to the stairs, the lift and the late night entrance but it was really quiet considering. Location was absolutely perfect too!!

My room was a standard, so there were not a lot of extra visual amenities, tho still just fine for when it was too rainy to venture out. I found the heating a little inadequate, but I finally figured it out. Not too much to complain about! Although the cleaning crew was a little remiss in some little things, but they were easily remedied by the front desk.

The location is perfect for art lovers, & has easy walking access to the more edgy parts of Amsterdam & the De Pijp area. I was traveling on a budget, & found the standard twin room more than adequate, & comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a large selection & the staff was very conscientious about providing alternatives for my dietary anomalies :-/ The staff in general were exceptionally nice & friendly.

Unkind staff, outdated reception area with a really bad toilet smell, unattended luggage room, safe not working and reception didnt solve the issue for a stay of 4 nights, towels on the floor in the bathroom were folded and put back up for reuse ..

When me and my friend arrived in the morning after a very long flight and travel, we asked if it would be possible to check in soon. A member of the staff invited us to take a seat and wait for an hour until 10:30 so they could clean the room and we could have an early check-in at no extra cost. That is immaculate service I must say! The bathroom is splendid with a good shower and the room is very clean.

Location is excellent. It is close to museums. The location is central, at the same time is a quiet area. Breakfast was very good, a small but good variety. The room and linen were clean. The hotel is a bit old, needs a better maintenance. But for me the most important is family friendly and cleanness. The room misses a water boiler. Although you can use it in the reception area. Still in the room would be more comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for three nights and they didn’t change the towels. Our room was located on the ground floor with a private garden. It would be nice if it was cleaned without all these leaves so any guest could sit outside.

Beautiful hotel, very close to Van Gogh museum. Tram and bus stops outside the hotel that made it so easy to come and go to the center. Very helpful and kind staff. Clean room and bathroom.

More teabags would be great particularly English breakfast rather than earl grey. Again this is a preference and a non coffee drinker my mum didn’t have as many teabags offered in the room and coffee pods.

Perfect location close to all the museums. This was my Preference rather than being close to the centre. It was quiet at night enabling a good nights sleep. There is a school near by so some noise in the mornings but as we were up early and out, it didn’t impact us. It is close to the tram and bus stop so easy to get around. Room was spacious and bathroom modern and nice.
