Breakfast at the adjoining cafe was not great. Check in system saves the hotel from employing a receptionist but all the work is done by guests. It’s a confusing checking/checkout process - make sure your phone is charged and has internet.

Handy location. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Easy to find. There was a washing machine and dryer which is great. Quiet.

Great location, easy to get from the airport, easy to walk anywhere in Bergen (uh, it’s a small city, the same can be said about any hotel there). Check in was seamless. It was a good size room, beautiful views from the top floor. Clean. Comfortable bed. Large shower. It was a good inexpensive choice for Bergen. I would stay there again. There is a kettle and a microwave downstairs. There is a decent pizza place next door. The staff were helpful and available when needed. The light and the socket did not work, so they offered another room (which I did not take, because I preferred city views to courtyard).

The room was very small. (So small that we were unable to open both of our suitcases at the same time. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes. The room was freezing when we arrived because the heater wasn't on. I turned it on and we went out on the town. When we got back the room was way too hot. There should be a gradient on the heater, not just on/off.

The place is relatively close to the city centre, the port for the Hurtigruten and Bybanan to the airport. It was among the cheapest options we found. The common kitchen had a fridge were we could place our food. We could store our luggage until 20:00.

The noise insulation is not very good. Can hear neighbours opening n closing of doors.

Hotel gave me a free upgrade of room. My room is clean and comfortable. Location is near sentrum.

Excellent location, spotlessly clean, great value. Lovely shower and hot water. Great views from the room. The luggage storage after check out was excellent. I was unsure of the self check in before arrival but it was so easy and secure. Great facilities on the ground floor for drinks, microwave, fridge , tables, TV, films and games. Would stay again. Thank you.

It’s a different concept- automated checking in. Our room was on the street side and throughout the night there were loud groups of people hanging around, talking, yelling. The windows didn’t seem to dim the noise. In The room above, the people stomped around and it was noisy.

Close to byparken transportation to airport, clean, decent value.

Windows grubby so hard to see out, lots of noise from tram rattling by every 20 mins and loud humming in ceiling.

Nice big seating areas and good location close to Central train station and right on tram line. Easy self check in and beds comfortable.

The location of the hotel is juz 5 mins walk to the Bergen train station. It's very convenient and accessible to the Unesco site.

Location of Citybox Bergen was very good, felt very safe here as you needed a key card to gain entry to the location at all times, and again to get the elevator to move. Kettle and microwave available in the common area, as was compostable cutlery, with a supermarket across the road which allowed me to eat in each night. I had a double small room, and it was exactly as it looked in the picture. Bed was very comfortable, perhaps too small for two people because it was in an alcove. Plenty of plugs which was great with two by the bed.
