There was no TV in the room and bed was a little bit narrow. Internet could be better.

The first room did not have the described sea view, and the bathroom smelled musty. The second room was much better and the change was cheerfully made.

The room was small and with declined ceiling. The beds were good but the summer night was hot even with one window open. We needed to travel quite a long way to reach the Hotel

It's a little bit dated, and the location is not extremely great.

More than 30 kilometers from Bergen. Breakfasts are not bad, but could be better.

Having to order supper before 5pm because this put a deadline on our day and we ended up with no supper and nowhere near to eat out at.

Beautiful building, quiet and peaceful, shop within walking distance Supper was delicious, the one night that we were in time to book it. Staff are friendly.

We booked this as an affordable option to staying in Bergen but it is very remote, an hour away with a narrow winding road towards the end. The town itself is largely industrial and charmless. We had dinner here as there were no other options in the village. A set menu of bread, main and dessert best described as "home cooked" - steamed cod and boiled vegetables without any sauces. The fish was very fresh but the whole meal was very plain.

Lovely old property with charming living areas available for guests to relax. Generous breakfast spread. Very good service from the manager. The room was very small but had a little balcony.

Bed mattress was too soft. No bathroom matt to dry the feet after stepping out of the shower. No kettle for boiling water.

The basic information that you would normally expect to find in the room wasn't there, e.g. WiFi password times of meals. We had to go to reception and ask for everything. The hotel asked us to pre book if we wanted dinner but wouldn't supply a menu or prices. We booked anyway and found out that it's a set dinner, no choice. The food was perfectly good but I don't know why they don't just tell you in advance.

The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower worked well. There was a wide choice of good fresh food for breakfast and they staff were friendly and helpful when asked. Complimentary ea and coffee making facilities in reception along with pancakes and jam at tea time.

Staff were helpful. Even though breakfast time is not before 8:30, but they help us to have it ready by 7:00 since we were there for a bike race. And it was holiday so all stores were close, and they cook us meal for dinner.

It was a bit loud between the rooms and there was a bit poor lighting in our room.

I enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was excellent and the the hotell was beautiful.

We enjoyed the dinner and a very good breakfast. The communication with the hotel in general and specifically regarding dinner was very good. Friendly staff. Nice garden and view. An ample common area with a tv and a lounge with comfortable sofas.

The rooms are in somewhat depressing outer buildings. The furniture/bed is ikea so not comfortable. Room was bare-bones. Bathroom needed a better cleaning. Property overall needs a lot of maintenance.

Beautiful old building with friendly staff. The chef went out of her way to accommodate and the front desk staff were extremely attentive.

Very cramped (3 bed room) small bathroom. Car parked in lower car park, steep hill to walk up, Then stairs to room which smelt damp and musty. It was sufficient and cheap but just for 1 night stopover as its a long winding drive from main road and hard work getting bags up to room.

Had what we needed, Good buffet breakfast. Balcony with good views.
